  1. Was my thought also .
  2. Pre production tooling ?
  3. Just have regular open fronted log stores . Seasoned at one end less so at the other . Work your way along . Simples .
  4. Still think it is worth examining that bar for what I posted earlier .
  5. Good job they never used tier A , Tier B etc , would have run out of tiers at 26 ! 😊
  6. I see its one of the " Techlight " bars . I had problems with them early on . They slowly de laminated . It was not obvious at first , the chain seemed to go slack quickly , then it would throw chains . Eventually I could see the bar coming apart . Ditched them and went over to Sugihara bars .
  7. I would want to stack it properly rather than just " post it " through a slot . just me .
  8. Brilliant mate ! 👍
  9. No just bury it . 😊
  10. The " traveling folk " avoid the first .
  11. All I know is Husky sold the first generation A/T to Stihl when they developed the 2nd gen or 3rd gen .
  12. As far as I know the early Stihl Mtronics used the first version of the Huqvarna A/T as Husky sold it to them after they moved on to the 2nd/3rd generation .
  13. I thought the Stihl was to let it idle but not got an Mtronic Stihl so don't really know .. Husky is definitely bury the bar in the cut for a few mins .
  14. I think that is the Stihl reset . The husqvarns reset is to bury the bar the full length and cut for several mins like that .
  15. Stubs make good files also . ( no relation ) 🙂
  16. You could well be correct but I hate it when people assume .
  17. Yep . They don't bite like they used to . I find Save edge dig in well .
  18. No not now as I don't buy many chains being out of the game now . Most Stihl chains seem to be .063 to fit Stihl bars funnily enough but they do make them in Husky gauge and when I came across them i would buy them .
  19. As can Cad plating . ( Cadmium )
  20. Used on guns as an alternative to " blueing "
  21. Yep . Its how I envisaged it panning out . Oregon for me . Have used Stihl when I can get them in .058 .
  22. Yep I put a couple of strokes on new cutters .
  23. Cant be . Too much punctuation 😁
  24. Went for a long walk with dog today , West Dean / Cowdray woods . Had a mixture of cold drizzle , freezing fog and the odd snow flake all dependent on elevation I think . . Noticed some " wind blown " larch after the storm .
