No . Go OEM if you want to do that but , Brick acid or similar can remove aluminum transfer quite easily and followed by a light hone can sometimes bring a cylinder back into action . A quality AM piston and Caber rings and jobs a goodun . Spud will be along to confirm if I am talking bollox or not 🙂 @spudulike

Cylinder may be saveable if its just aluminum transfer .

Filled up my pickup at the local village filling station/CoOp shop and it was £87 . last time it was £103 so its come down a bit . Sorry I never look at the price/ltr .

This wood seasoning thing is just common sense really . Longer the better , keep dry , wind, and some sun if possible . At the end of the day if you are cold you godda burn what you got .

I would say they are aftermarket dawgs/spikes and not OEM hence the problems . Honestly they are of no advantage on a 50-60cc saw , even if the bar studs were long enough . That size saw would be used for felling and snedding out trees maybe a max of 2x bar lenght . Big dawgs like that shorten your effective bar lenght and get in the way when snedding . They are " soft wood dawgs ( thick chunky bark ) and suitable for saws of 70cc and upwards . If you want to " pimp " your saw then go for it . If you want a tool to do the job keep the standard dawgs , get the outer one if you want ( as on mine ) but standard lenght and fitting . just me .

It looks to me that you are trying to fit dawgs/spikes that should fit a 372.572/385.390 .

You might have to " spot " the holes through with a drill . I think its the same cover on your saw . Note the 562 cover is different in that the outer dawg mounting holes are further apart ( to account for the 3/8th running gear . Sooo if you buy a new set of dawgs get them for a 560 not a 562 . I think !

If you take the clutch cover off and look inside are there not cavities cast for captive nuts to take the outside bucking dawg/bumper spike rather that the 372/385/390 one you are trying to fit ? ( as on my 560 below )
