  1. Have them in my Burley stove they may sell it but probably not the exact size you need and probably outrageously priced again . try em .

So I was not reading it wrong in the hand book about setting auto tune ? I still find hot start is better if you don't touch the red lever ( don;t put it on half throttle ) and only one pump of primer . All other saws used to hot start from tickover and this one does too .
  3. Yep as I posted earlier it is / was a different carb also I think the porting was not so radical hence the slower revving . This may have all changed on thenew "Xtorque" model .
  4. Phew ! thought I was in for a rogering for being honest . Thanks you guys .
  5. I don't know if its cos I am a sad old git .. but I very rarely use the chain brake . In fact the only time I use one is if I am sending a running saw up the tree and the climber has to pull it up and grab it . I am 60 this birthday and never used a brake before I got my tickets , used one as I remember to pass said tickets and then never since . I know people will go into one about HSE but I have never felt the need . I can't understand how people can rev a saw flat out and snap the brake several times first thing in the morning ! just to see if it works . Drives me nuts . Mechanical sympathy you see . Any way as a result I think I have only changed a brake band about 3 times in my life ! . If the saw is idling properly that does me . Putting my tin hat on now !
  6. Ah . now wasn't the old (discontinued ) 362 a smaller bar mount ? and .325 rim as standard ? Oh sorry off on one again !!:
  7. Mmmm . Its the age old question and the timeless answer (from me anyway ) would be to buy the best you can afford for the job in hand .
  8. Its the "knife through butter" bit that did me in , Still laughing now !
  9. That bloke would make a good M.P. being able to lie like that and take the money !
  10. The battery one looks marginally quicker .
  11. Naa not offended at all just going with the flow ! Only in it as I was a bit board . You can call it a Ferrari if you want I really don;t mind . Hope you get a saw that fulfills your needs .
  12. So wrong answer really I suppose . H/ch nut I would avoid if any . All wood burns if bone dry . Some better than others is all .
  13. Syc is the least labor intensive . Seasons quickly splits easy peasy and burns well .
  14. no its not . It has a different carb and it revs slower . The 365 special has tjhe bottom end of a 372XP but it will not rev out like an XP saw because it is not designed to . I will however last a long time .
  15. I got to be honest, I got all emotional watching that . A BIG Up to all those involved .

365 is an older saw . 365 special is a 365 with a 372 bottom end making it a go for ever type of saw as it is sorta over engineered . Very dependable . There is a new X torque but I don't think there is a high revving XP . I could be wrong !
  17. Whats it like having an arse on your wrist ?
  18. Sorry I meant I have it recorded .
