    chainsaw id

Its one of the chinese " Zomax" saws re badged / re painted to be what ever you want to call it . I call it a bag o shite !
  14. Slightly over engineered so making it pretty much a bomb proof saw . Should last a life time if in good nick and kept that way .
  15. Ok . Both have had issues . I have a 560 that is fine now . It has had the following (under warranty) . Hotter spark plug , new updated carb , remap of auto tune . Then later a "tweek "by petmate390 on here . Known probs are pull start mech busting , rear av spring failing and some people experiencing hot start difficulties . Pull start hasd been modded I think , there is a new coil to aid hot start . Some may not have had these mods . One thing , the de comp pops out just with comression , even if it dose not fire ,so to help the pull start mech it is best to push the de comp in weather it fires or not . The ignition is on all the time which can cause people to flood it accidentally by putting the choke on . Once you get accustomed to it it is a stonking saw and I have never had better . 15" bar is perfect but will run an 18 ok .
  16. A Sharp one ! Seriously though 400mm is about 15-16inches I think, so either of the above would do . you might want a bit more grunt on occasion but the trade off is the extra weight but if you are set up cross cutting off the ground in some sort of horse/jig or clamp then the extra weight is taken mostly by the log . son you could add 365 or 372 to that list .
  17. My cat is a George . All white with one green eye and one blue eye . Black bird could be singing if it was a bright moon . . I went to a filling station once at about 2.00am and there was a black bird singing because all the for court lights were on .
  18. Spark unit to fly wheel gap too big/small Maybe a lead off ,Fly wheel key sheered putting it out of time ? Spark unit just plain failed ?
  19. You godda use the decomp every time you pull it over , even if it does not fire . The decomp on mine pops out just from compression weather it fires or not .
