  1. Hopefully you can teach me some stuff !!
  2. Hi matey and welcome . Useful tips and help on all aspects on here and good laugh as well some times .
  3. Ok . Looked at that one on fleabay and it wont be up to the job . ! its got a smaller engine than mine and 2 its belt driven . They would just slip I recon . Mine is duplex chain and sprocket drive . The one you are looking at will need a lot more work to make it usable on anything other than bone dry pop !
  4. Chichester is my nearest town . I'm a village called Lavant . The yanks sell one to fit on your car called ....... **** can't remember now will remember in a mo ...
  5. I remembered . But .....I put em forward like you should and then unbeknown to me my "blond" wife thought she would do it . Thing is she put em back Doh ! took me a while to realize.
  6. I'm not in Crawly ! perhaps you are though ? Sorry not for sale bud . I need em . Seriously though a self driven screw type is rthe way to go I recon but it needs something like a 3 cylinder Kabota engine to make it good on gnarly old Elm and the like .
  7. I suspect he was saying with some degree of mirth . Its an old chestnut I seem to remember !
  8. I have a screw type splitter with its own engine ( 13hp Honda ) and it is quicker the my 20T hydraulic splitter as long as its easy stuff like syc . It really needs more torque probably 25 hp or more to make it good for everything . I will sort it one day .
  9. I know I am clutching at straws and being a little ridiculous but am trying to find any ways there might be to counter this , what seems to me , stupid law . I don't live in Scotland but it does seem to me to be complex and at the same time daft .
  10. So what about the Bird nesting part of the law . say for example there were 2 or more trees in a row ( constituting a Scottish hedge ) all containing a rookery in the crown ?
  11. Well thats what I thought but aparently the "hedge" law trumps the conservation/TPO law .....
  12. Shame its against the law to explain it to them ANOTHER way
  13. Its another case of people talking and pontificating , then passing laws on a subject they no next to nothing about .
  14. 338 is pants agreed . However our 201 is also pants and no match for the 3 200t s we have . Why is there such a difference in opinions I wonder ?
  15. Do you put an extra 2 drive links for the 9pin?
  16. It would be in direct conflict with any TPOs and blanket conservation areas , surely ?? ( like you I think it idiotic at best ) ......
  17. Ok What about a Chinook helicopter engine ?????
  18. Yea it is but is because of the emission regs ? If Husqvarna have made a cracking saw to equal or better a 200t and then have to dum it down to met emission regs it could well be just an orange 201 ..........
  19. You want to be a sorta middle man ?
