  1. Seen quite a few snipe in the fields and along the river course lately . A pair of teal and the first Mallard ducklings , 10 or 12 . Any one else seen some good stuff ??
  2. No. I thought that but by the time I read it there was all this talk of compressor size etc so I abstained .
  3. Landed gentry me ! ( I wish )
  4. I think the original; 365 and 365 special are 65.1cc . Don't know about the X torque .
  5. I understand Jon . Drink up bud . Fight another day bro !
  6. I grill; mine ( if not on the barbe ) . I find the thing is to have the grill on low not high and turn the steak a lot . Don't do so many mins a side do lots of short times on either side ..
  7. Ok . This guy seems to be a highly intelligent person and would understand all points of view . This is what I propose . I will advise ( not instruct ) of the need for PPE . I will strongly suggest he enroll at Brinsbury Collage for the Home owner or domestic chainsaw coarse , better still CS 30 / 31 . I will fell what he needs felling and allow him to observe ( from a safe position ) Advise him of the importance of keeping a sharp chain and following best practice with out instructing him . I will asdvise him of my local dealer who can sup[ply him with a saw suitable to his needs and some PPE . I will not " instruct " hiom in any form . How does that sound ??
  8. Spud ported and tuned 2003 original 372XP high top filter double dogs . Would not swap it for any other 70cc saw to date.
  9. Yea , could be . People forget about old Mr dependable . Not a grey hound out of the trap but will go for ever and ever Amen !
  10. Just watched the game Jon . Bad luck mate . Bath made a spirited come back in the last quarter but too little too late . Looked a gritty tough match mate .
  11. The thing about av 576 is this .... It weighs almost the same as a 385xp ( now a 390xp ) but makes no more power than the lighter 372 . Because of this alone I could not see the point of it . If you are prepared to carry that weight around you might as well carry a 385 and have even more grunt . Original 372 over a 576 any day .
  12. Thanks every one for all your advice and input . I will consider them all .
  13. I did exactly that . Had a 372 , sold it to get a newer 576 . hated it , sold that and got another 372 . then just recently got spud to port it . perfect 70cc saw now !
  14. Thats the what I was thinking .
  15. If a person has some driving lessons and then has a car accident is the driving instructor liable ?/
  16. I think that would a bad move in as much as I am not and never have been an NPTC instructor . I am favoring the explaining what I am doing as I go and only taking payment for the felling and not for any possible " instruction " . ?
  17. Thanks for that as well . Seems to be 2 different opinions here .
  18. I think there is a Husqvarna only Bermuda triangle where the new electric saws and the T540 have gone ......
  19. Ok mate , thanks for that .
