  1. Just asked seller why he dragged it all the way from Preston in Lancashire to Scotland just to sell it ? Don't suppose I will get a answer .....
  2. Yea thats a good reason . Like the chippers being " sold " from the top of Scotland were there are no trees . However some people do start the bidding low to gain interest . At the end of the day anyone with half a brain aint going to part with any wonga till they got said item .
  3. And that is a nominal figure . In real world terms I think it would be more than that . My 5kw Burley sure punts out more than 5kw .......
  4. Link or item number ??
  5. Hi jon . How youy dooin Bud . Yea the old spaniel loves it . Poor old girl . I took her to the vets today for her annual check up and she has got a heart murmur . She is THE most loyal dog I have ever had ( and I've had a few spaniels ) , 14 now . Dreading the day mate , love her to bits .....
  6. Like this ? Not that tricky bud !
  7. Ok no worries bud but Building work is not that daunting really . You could easily open it out to suit . Use vermiculite board to finish the aperture and plaster over . Jobs a goodun !

  11. No . Just Hornbeam ! . ....When you know Hornbeam you know the lot
  12. Yea all of that is why the saw does not bog down !
  13. Yep sure you can bud ! HORNBEAM !!!!!!!!!!
  14. It wont be cheap but the sallest Burley , Debdale I think its called Nominal 4kw and a claimed 89.8% efficiency . I have the larger Holleywell and it the best thing I have ever bought .
  15. Skip and semi skip have alternate or every other cutter missing from the chain ( I think semi is 2 cutters then a gap then 1 then a gap the 2 again and so on ) Its mostly for big long bars the full depth of cut . There being bigger gaps between cutter giving more room for the cut chip to be dragged along and out of the kirf without the tendency to clog and jam .
  16. Join the rest of the Travs !
  17. No , seriously , Hornbeam.....
  18. don't see why not . away you go then .....
  19. When I first strated work in engineering I worked for a firm that manufactured seat belts . My foreman used to be able to " half latch " a seat belt in an inertia reel proving it was a danger ( it seemingly latched but any miner force would pull it out ) . No one else could do it . I think if you go out of your way to fail something you will eventually find a way to fail it . Equally if you go out of your way to be sure its locked safe it will be .
  20. Sorry you are suffering bud . Hope you recover quickly . As an aside I presume you have , at one time , been hit in the seed sack by a cricket bat to enable you to draw the comparison ?
