  1. due to popular demand, im planning another climb possibly a weekends worth of climbing hammock over night in the woods and then climb even more. is there any preference on dates but one good thing itts warming up and the days are getting longer.
  2. well here was how it was left yesterday. so this morning chacked out the tirfor to help pull this lump over, stump ground out and all done and dusted.
  3. monday brought this small horse chesnut to have some little work to it. this is only a sneak peak as the photos taken on the work camera are going into a magazine but here were 2 from my phone. we got it down to 10 feet left today by 2 o clock.
  4. that sounds good adam where abouts in scotland are we heading as i think its gonna be a good ole drive
  5. even if its bolted down it will still be nicked
  6. ive got the newest one and it ultra slim like james's one and has no disc drive.
  7. is yours the thicker model more box shape rather than a curved back to it?
  8. i think the new mac's dont have a disc drive and probably have to buy a seprate removable one. you will need an apple superdrive work with all the new models and its £65 from apple.
  9. well this weekend was spent down wippy trying to find some more rec climb gems. and a bit of light reading from the boss.
  10. ariel rescue what that no all seriousness we do try and keep up on rescue techniques when we have time to pratice.

  12. you have just missed out on it really but winter work with gristwood is always there as you have all the london pollards and many other jobs only done during winter. it is mainly price work though
  13. found out today the forestry journal are comming out on monday to do a profile in the up and coming mag
  14. give her your old one and then you can get a new harness thats if the waist goes small enough i know i struggle to get my harness tight enough as im lacking in the belly department.
  15. well what a nice couple of day weather we have had down here bring on more sunny days like today. just not all stone dead takedowns very dusty working down a lovely alley here one of the big chesnuts that was well past its best plenty of logs off this one.

Right as the majority of us enjoy swinging around in tree canopys what about rock faces? who has done it who still climbs. i dont really do it anymore as work has got in the way but i used to enter competitions and all sorts won a good lot of stuff as well:thumbup1: im selling some kit as well if anyone is intrested. safe climbing.
  17. all hail srt for nasty wet planes this week, it has been the first time to use it and in a working enviorment only used for gaining acces into tree then switched to drt helped with the real spready crowns as the bigshot got us to the top in one. note to self this week dont stand or let you trowline get caught up when firing the big shot as the weight has a great idea of hitting you in the face
  18. alright for some im still picking out rose and hawthorn splinters out my hand from mondays call out of a fallen elm
  19. todays lovely call out. large cypress tree lost one of its 3 major limbs had to be felled as the other stems were compramised didnt take any other photos as it was snowing and soaking wet filled the lorry right up but luckly it only damaged one fence pannel from the massive 40 foot stem.
  20. well last week brought a lovely job.... NOT !! dragging brush though a newly rennivated house in chelsea. was a very tall skinny lime growing in a raised bed. all nice and swift woke all the neigbhours up care to rent it £2000 a week if you please....
