  1. that chipper is awsome when it wants to be if you can pick it up it should chip only problem is more chip ends out the lorry than in it. packs it in good though.
  2. Busy day monday copper beech fell back garden with postage stamp garden. heres a few pic fantastic weather.
  3. not on that day was a tad too wet pictures dont do it justice
  4. oak reduction lovely and wet day nice and slippy.
  5. looking though some random work pictures today. of various jobs over the winter
  6. its a uk gem for sure. TM well the rules were bent it was a commuter hot spot near major train station school near by nightmare got there nice and early with signs and cones made cordened of both sides of the road and it was stop go when the wood was falling good comms of course.
  7. today brought "the red oak" by no means small only a dead wood this year and removing of some damaged limbs but next year its up for a reduction we did a few other things on this site big reductions included it spanned over all the houses.
  8. if im working on them in it or on the ground ski goggles are good they help with non sticky eyes the next day its gonna get hot no matter what i get a nice cough from it but i cant get on with masks. we dont do too many but leave it to winter if we can.

  12. yesterdays multi stemmed sycamore, taken down due to local authority worries or weak unions. fairly large tree lots of logs 1 and half lorry loads of logs mog load of chip the big yew in the middle was retained and all rigged over to help with the clearing up.

  14. well the weather has been great recently nice and hot for taking town this dead oak. all done and dusted in one day also check us out in the may edition of essintial arb. urban forestry.

  18. ive had my spiderjack a fair while but i dont use it all the time i just cant always get on with it, spready trees its excellent but that does not happen every day. be careful if you do get one as getting used to the breaking lever well can be intresting i do prefer my hitchclimber set up but the SJ can self tend excellently and you can just climb the tree.
  19. yes a lovely tree shame about the quality of work that has been done in the park i was going to get up that big welly in the wooded bit but it was a tad windy in a tight spot to get a good throwline. i may let you know next time I head out.
  20. no work today but a nice reccy climb on this gem of an oak in a park local to me.
