  1. The new Stihl saw was a present to the boss from his wife, it's ok will be used a little not as much power as I thought but as a pruning saw it is quite heavy only used it on a few limes.
  2. as says i leave for oz soon and want to take an adjustable cambium saver for top ties in Srt and for double rope too. working on spars too not sure what size but 2 meters seems the right length answers please i need to order soon.

  6. Well today we have broken up for 2014 a very busy and interesting one too being on the adventures of 2015. Wishing you all a good one here's a few more photos to finish the year.

It's just round the corner for this Saturdays rec climb I'm gonna get down for around 9 ish people are welcome before plan to meet in the main car park for wippendell woods there is a big cedar in the middle which is on grove mill lane, Watford can't get a post code but the grove golf course is just on the main road which is a WD17 3NL post code be nice to see a wide range of you all bring all your own kit lunch See you there
  11. I have set up a couple of rec climbs in recent years and before I move to oz I thought it would be nice to see some faces new and old for one last time. The woodland varies in species and heights with some fantastic trees to climb. Everyone is welcome new and old. I've already spoken to a few people and they are coming. And bringing along some new gear for us to play with. I will post up location later on but we should meet at the car park and walk in. No bull just a good crack with like minded people. Wippendell is just outside Watford in the south east. Climb safe. Nathan and Uktt
  12. Pretty full on week this week various jobs felling lots of western reds big weeping lime reduction including an oak monolith and the reduction of 30 trees in a day and a half Saturday rest day.
  13. Is there any other firms out in oz that don't use arb jobs and may be a worthwhile venture I leave for oz in 2nd feb 2015

  15. very tragic situation but by the sound of it the tree was already fallen
  16. Was nice to get away and support some mates next year has much more in the pipeline good luck guys at acle and all the others that helped out
  17. Found putting the rope in a pillow case can ruin the drum it does not clean that well either as it's one lump I just Throw it in loose now comes out gleaming and smelling much better

  19. Sunday afternoon went for a walk in a near by woods and found this gem of a sweet chestnut
  20. Norway Maple reduction today along with other works on this site tree has been buried to about 1meter above root flare in a sorry state really nice and wet today
