  1. final update that i will be leaving the Uk for oz on feb 2nd if there is anyone that can give me any more contacts it would be much appreciated land in adalaide
  2. More work for the last week deadwood a large sycamore and inspection, site survey then much smaller sycamore reduction
  3. been watching this thread and its an interesting topic we are a small firm based near london and run both lorrys and a mog and it is very difficult to say what to go for as they both get used as much as each other we run a u1600 ag mog and it had never been a problem being ag reg been ideal as the majority of us on the firm do not possess a hgv licence. saying this we have had lots of problems this year with major repairs. and it being out of action for a while. due to the dryer weather this year most jobs we have been able to get the lorry off road to a certain extent if not we have towed a chipper with the pick up. i think it does depend down to how much driving you do long drives in a mog with ag tyres is interesting. lorrys on the upside are more comfortable cost less to run and can probably carry more but will not get you in as many tight spaces I'm sure this all makes no sense but thats that

  5. Results as follows great carving by all Will lee retaining his title with Bear bench 2nd Danny Thomas with harvester in the woods 3rd dan cordel with badger under tree got a few photos Well done to everyone Not got a photo of dans carving.
  6. The hopper is big as well and since we don't have underbody lockers we put the kit in the chipper and is lifted in transit so can't be taken out.
  7. Works been pretty busy recently mogs back on the road been out a lot recently. Few various jobs and today's oak reduction on a declining tree
  8. Back to work once again after week off varied work had the bobcat out the last few days on stump grinding duties on a clearance site couldn't use phone on the site.

  11. Spent the last week working for Ian at target trees a jam packed week started off with a interesting welly take down followed by a varying amount of different work great week and perhaps a vid in the making the client on the welly filmed parts of the removal.

  16. Varies the last on I set up in wippy a year or so ago had about 10 15 people

It's just round the corner for this Saturday rec climb I'm gonna get down for around 9 ish people are welcome before plan to meet in the main car park for wippendell woods there is a big cedar in the middle which is on grove mill lane, Watford can't get a post code but the grove golf course is just on the main road which is a WD17 3NL post code be nice to see a wide range of you all bring all your own kit lunch and mugs sure someone will bring a Kelly kettle.   18. A washer and old throw line or starter cord as long as it gets stopped by the smallest ring
