  8. i got stihl ranger gtx, the way i think about it, is there comfy boots until or if a saw contacts them, then there worth 15000+ not 150 if they save you a fall and serious injury or worse then there well worth the money.
  9. sorry westmeath, middle of ireland! its ok for keeping gear out of sight but really gets wet with condensation!
  10. left handed, dont usually wear gloves... check out snickers gloves, you can mix and match left and right ones!
  11. i really really disliked the canopy, its held on with 4 hook bolts that would take 30 seconds to remove and they scrape the frame of the truck, i would look for a nice fibreglass one sooner
  12. look up an owners club for your truck, there usually excellent for information! that or ebay
  13. sound, ill be getting the ford 2000 for the winch, if not itll be on 3pl on 390t, rather get it on the old ford in case ofthe worst!
  14. bought today! hope it pays for itself and a bit!!!
  15. machine driver for 20 of 30 years ive a lot to learn, you look around for hazards when climbing, digger drivers cant see through the ground at our hazards. Every real job has pros and cons and varying experience, i would not judge anyone involved in heavy outdoor work as its easy to misjudge
  16. how long is a peice of string, once someone can work without being babysat is that not experienced????? if they were all singing all dancing with a telepathic sense to read your mind and do everything without being told there more than capable of going out on there own in business!
  17. 3 tonne toyota, bullet proof, not the most easy to feel but onceused to it youll love it, i drive a gas nissan 1.5 ton every day and think its great for loading light stuff but hasnt the grunt for heavy, uncle has the toyota, its a 3 tonne diesel serious grunt but hasnt the same feel
  18. the plate fits well, i did notice that, i must check it for oil there so, and if i buy ill modify it to check the level thank you
  19. thanks, i was putting the back plate ( beside the tractor mount ) being strained due to pulling as its not really that heavy... ill double check though, on the left hand side as looking from the back the round plate on the side of the winch doesnt look original, from google pics anyways
  20. same as bilke s3 only without feed conveyor... id want the conveyor
  21. id build an upside down horizontal splitter to mount on 3 pt linkage or better a loader or skidsteer, youtube skidsteer splitters for inspiration!
