  1. Depends on range. The .22lr would be more than capable at short distance. If more than 20 or 30 yards I would use a bigger calibre. (If using subs and moderator) Id say a shotgun with a slug or magnum cartridge would have the same range but not as acurate. Youtube has a load of videos for inspiration. Ideally a 223 up to 50 yards in built up area. It would be cheaper, faster and safer to get a pro to deal with the fox. The fox you know entered the house, I would be dealing with it asap.
  2. Shall we agree its unsafe, impractical unethical and wrong to shoot a cat in a tree? It was something I said on a public forum in jest. I wasn't the first to mention it. I'm willing to move on and forget about this. I shoot vermin and targets. My typing skills may need to be improved!
  3. needs must if you want to reserect an old conversation ill just agree with you as your obviously lacking in social skills and have nothing to be thinking about:001_smile:

  10. if you or anyone thinks i was serious about shooting a cat out of a tree you need your head examined, ive never offended anyone on here and a throw away comment to be taken up like that on here???? ive a lower opinion of a few users now, most people would get that, how about suggesting felling the tree????? cop on grow up, the calibre of person who would shoot pets, brag or publicise about it deserve jail, but a throw away comment holds no weight, even legally, open your minds i say
  11. do you understand the concept of sarcasm, as i said the lad with the donation to the air ambulance is right, im a responsible firearm owner, with a darker sense of humour than some, how do you find this video????? will you write to stihl????
  12. dry **** above, calling a spade a spade, why dont you volunteer to go rescue it if you feel so strongly on it, ive 3 firearms and shoot vermin and targets, but i assume your anti gun? as the other user commented similar and no one else took offence maybe you should get off your moral high horse
  13. i reckon the lad with the air ambulance donation is spot on, if its too difficult a .22 would be the cheap option!
  14. ahem Irish started tread chief! i think blitz it with iron sulphate and fertilise it with high iron fertiliser, scarify it and get hammered, keep everyone happy!
  15. well the grass is near gone, due to shade i think! cant remove thye leylandis, ill try the sulphate and see what happens, if its killing well ill hire a machine! thanks
  16. probably depends on if there demolishing a 3 room cottage or a large scale industrial building. i would imagine youd want to be trained on large jobs,
