  7. Possible with almost any machine, routine maintenance and the essential cop on...
  8. Green diesel, no bar oil, 2stroke, no chain to sharpen, no loose bits flying at you, no kickback etc, pros and cons for everything! sub 100mm id use the tractor saw, over and the chainsaw is more productive
  9. Mines been in the shed for years, was going to put it on a splitter but ill stick it on a 10 x 5 ifor trailer, it isnt a tipper though
  10. Thats some trailer... ive a small viper crane to suit an Ifor, now all Ineed is the trailer!
  11. Mine, Ill never sell it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T_OveOZjyc Conveyor would be great though it is very dangerous when wood builds up around the tilting bit and blocks in position
  12. On facebook im friends with one of the x crews, he says it was all horseshit and damaged their reputation. I think bad of watching ax men but like shows about alaska, the yukon and stuff
  13. Pigeons nest in spruce, you could have built a hotel with the quantity of material
  14. Reminds me of the 3m high Leylandi hedge at my home house my brother in law "trimmed" last year, I will never let him use even a rake again..
  15. look up the price of a big atv - small tractor trailer with a crane, there would be a lot of timber moved to recover the cost. If you have the work, crack on!
  16. Ive 2 quoting the same, that cheaper machine looks tempting, I know you get what you pay for though...
  17. my bad, didnt notice that. Im quoted E5000 + vat = £3911 + vat new
  18. Where abouts is he based? doesnt give area on the ad.... Its very original alright! My only hold back at the moment is that hedge cutting, clearance is quietning down. Ill keep my options open on a used machine but might save a while longer and buy outright. there was a dealer on about this GTM Professional » Webshop » Tuin & Park » Snoeiwerk » Houtversnipperaars but It doesnt really look up to trouble free service.
  19. It took me 3 attempts to read this tread, so worth it. Soon to join the club hopefully!
  20. Tidy machine, they really hold there value
  21. Ive extracted timber using a Quad and trailer, there are a load of treads on here for same. I couldnt get the rates to cover me and the machine so I gave that up. There are too many fellas to thin for firewood around me.
  22. Got the chainsaw - doctor T shirt, love it! Also having the beautiful ladies there was a help!
