  1. how did you get the 2015 Stihl calender already??? I hate to burst your bubble, there models!!! you could get your future missus to role play as a tree surgeon, go on about light, safety, insurance, tools then try and charge you a few hundred quid an hour!!!
  2. Even the most modern impressive machinery gets boring to watch after 5 minutes. throw in a group of eijits and you have good telly
  3. If you find yourself heading to arb shows with a suit and aftershave on you may have issues! my better half is a country lady, makes gettin on with the inlaws easy too.. never did get on too well with townie women

  12. oh feck that!! for the sump?? thought it would be tight but not that bad!
  13. Id imagine youll need to remove the diff, the drives and loosen the engine mounts and lift the engine a fraction... clean the sump strainer as they can give bother. Possibly do injector seat seals.... worth posting in hpoc forum, decent folks. The sump may have bolts covered by the gearbox, that can be a pain

The thing a pickup has over a van or jeep is it can hold anything in the back, regardless of how wet it is, how it smells, weather its chip, logs or trimmings. even having a saw in a car you get the fumes off it, never mind leylandi trimmings with the Hedge cutter and some ahem foreign material in it! If I never needed the 4wd id have a 2wd hilux, works fine and can use it as a car... The blue hiluxes body is somewhere in norwich, its engine and gearbox are in nigeria and its turbo is off the west coast of Canada! Im always looking for a vw transporter pickup body to convert the current truck into a tipper!
  15. current one no, last one was arb spec tipper. I only have the truck so I want something presentable also I have more uses for a trailer and never chip so I have a truckman canopy on the truck and an Ifor trailer.

  17. Forestry Courses - KTC Safety Irish company, I dont know If there different in other countrys. It seems you need to have alot of forwarder work done before getting near the harvester here... Last guy I talked to here in a forwarder was from finland.
  18. I learned years ago, before you make tracks, learn how to cover them!! im sure if the missus was ableto delete them and you dont have swollen eyes or broken fingers they couldnt have been too bad!!!
  19. Firstly, there probably only Irish when it suits them. There travellers. As the other reply said you can buy gear in the pub or off the shady guy you know. Keep your tools locked down at all times. Keep an eye on donedeal.ie gumtree.ie
  20. I thought I was bad doing the harlem shake when at full reach on mewps. The most public you can be and no one looks up. That and singing the lumberjack song while using the 660....
