  1. its as said, the only thing i see that is dangerous here is people showing off guns, tools, toys, thats down to individuals though, you can only blame yourself for what you publicise!
  2. Bought a professionally built hilux tipper and getting it at the weekend! after doing the sums im better off with this one... pics soon!!!
  3. was lookin for one cheap near nyc cos im heading there soon, there still very very pricy new.... there fast machines though....
  4. good good, now you can research all the rest of the gear you need!
  5. cross linking! http://www.hpoc.co.uk/community/index.php?showtopic=32784&hl=%2Bhilux+%2Btipper#entry413981
  6. it was my first saw, never gave me bother and did everything i asked of it, good middle of the road saw, i wouldnt hesitate to reccomend it...
  7. sound, its a daily topic though....
  8. best thing is to search splitter on here
  9. whatever you choose to do is your business, i do know that the way your ad is worded makes the truck sound bad! turbo problems arent the end of the road, sometimes down to a stuck wastegate, if you have any mates in the motor trade get them to look at it, it looks like a clean motor.... it would be a shame to see you taken advantage of by a best price merchant! the navarra has had the same basic engine for a decade, the turbo should be easily available! good luck and do not get stressed, google hypertension releif if your still feeling down, i have an idea where your at!
  10. if you buy a quad buy a beretta! instant peace of mind! ah no. the quads are great but love to wheelspin
  11. i moved 6 tons of cut firewood with a rideon and a little rubbermaid trailer! i wouldnt publicise it really but it worked.... the castlegarden left way less tracks than the quad, slower, less powerful but in a low gear they will do the job the finest!
  12. id agree about the conveyor and some form of restraining large rings, the table is bigger than it looks! sometimes i need to split and cut with the tractor saw so i need the table. i rarely split timber that big but as ive been hired by people let down by there own splitters .... thanks for feedback keep it coming! predator, thanks for the praise, it took a while to complete and i beleive anyone is capable of acheiving there ideas given time and oppurtunity!
  13. Ok, anyone who built anything from scratch would do some stuff differently! For this one im including a crane, meter long capacity, 4 way splitting, its own engine and fast tow wheels. what else would you include? herse mine working on big timber and another vid of it in more sensible timber... its running on a 390t with approx 70 litres per minute oil flow... 14. im with the peugot engine, though its a cheap truck so maybe they use whatevers cheap at the time.... i personally wouldnt buy one but best of luck with it! there indian and i am informed thats where the defender will be built in future.... open to correction... this is a very very broad forum indeed!
  15. ah just a thought, they are good for big miles,,,, im in talks for similar here!
  16. TOYOTA HILUX PICKUP TRUCK ALLOY BODY TIPPER 4x4 TAXED & TESTED "NO VAT" | eBay
  17. chill on the legal stuff, ive had a load of hiluxes, lookin for a tipper now ive work to justify it again.... if you get a good hilux you will never look back!
  18. i have a yamaha kodiak 400. great quad, no silly gearbox bs, it works on a belt system.... if using a quad the most important thing to remember is that braking downhill with a standard trailer is suicide, they arent great at that. balance the load properly and it helps but be careful... def go 400 cc plus my few cents worth!

    ax men

watch them if there on, wouldnt be too bothered, drama is childish but they have nice kit....
  22. m large in northern ireland has a great selection of splitters conveyors and machines
  23. combos are decent enough van, havent heard anything bad, as im in ireland i dont know the uk check sites but if a van is 5 years old or less id definately do it, i do know there is a massive amount of decent vans there as its where a lot for the used market here are sourced
  24. watch for clocked vehicles too, with the amount of cheap computers its at an all time high, when im buying a vehicle id judge more by condition, how it drives and runs than service history or miles... best wear indicators are steering wheel, pedals, printed parts on radio, wipers, lights and seat, vans back bumpers from forklift damage... there universal points, what make or model are you thinking?
