  4. Fnar fnar!!
  5. Fnar fnar!!
  6. That's alot of money. But when the assessment cpcs for the 360 is £500 alone it's good value! I'd still shop around a bit though. Good luck!
  7. I've just got a new 460. I've found when strimming grass half throttle works alot better. With the blades about half an hour full throttle is it but with my head down I can clear alot in that half hour!
  8. In your situation they have you by the short and curlys. On the plus side the FC will not quibble over paying you to have a banksman/2nd with you. Ironically I've just spent a week clearing chestnut coppice for the FC in preparation for bike trail updates.
  9. P15 pine, west coast...... Bio mass whole tree chipping, build a golf course get a wig for broad leaf woodland creation.
  10. "Woodlands for sale" google it. Then there's savilles, and other large land agents. What grants? There were no grants for purchasing land but there are still grants for woodland management.
  11. Just make sure whatever you leave is cut to reasonable lengths, try and fell in rows if possible bench/herringbone etc. leave the brash as it is. Brash is conventionally delt with as part of the ground prep prior to planting.

    Jesus!

    Chuck Norris.......
  13. What's the price? Have you tried it with a tri or saw blade? Thanks.
  14. Depending on overall volume and percentages of oversize logs you might be better off seeking out specialist mills. If the DF is good enough you might be able to sell it for ships masts in pole length, but it has to be something special for that. Contact a local timber haulier, they'll have a good idea of the local crack!
  15. Doesn't show on tapatalk......
  16. Where in the country are you?
  17. Surely that's something you need to find out for your self if you intend to begin production of pellets?
  18. If it falls naturally is it likely to hit anyone?
  19. Right fellas, Hairy dieters on bbc2!
  20. So 20-50cm dbh? Really doesn't seem that exceptional. You'll be better prepared with an expected volume either ob or ub.
  21. Good point, there goes my naive trust in arb talkers. Ripped con artists, the lot of ya!
  22. Sounds good to me, I'm 6ft on the nose and 115kg, though I'll be kayaking again soon after 2 years out. though I think portion control and less rubbish would do it, heck I work hard enough during the day eah Tom?! So, we need some sort of table with targets. Some sort of handicap system and a teeny bit of competition to help with the momentum? All taking part chip in £5 and best slimmer (possibly a vote?) gets the reddies in the form of toy shop vouchers? Alex
  23. Call Tilhill, euro forest etc? Or buy a stand and act as the agent yourself?
  24. Seriously, pigs. If you've got the time. They'll eat the lot so once your freezer is full you can level and seed as paddock. If not for you then a good mulching.
