  1. Piercebridge has a cracking cafe too!
  2. http://www.champion-gardens.co.uk This is as basic as they get. Maybe when I take a few pictures it may become more colourful!
  3. .....must have own Delorean.
  4. I enjoyed the research immensely. If you want to read it I can send you a copy. Some of it is shit but I got a healthy 63% for it so I was pleased!
  5. I think the best thing to do is to phone them up and talk. They are humans and actually reasonable ones too haha.you tell them what you're going to be doing and they tell you what you need. I was in a similar state of confusion recently. I'm pleased with the service from Arborisk. (Wonder if I get commission?)
  6. About which bit?
  7. Biochar was part of my undergraduate dissertation. The biomass (measured above ground height and total weight) of clover increased with impressive statistical significance using soil with 5% biochar additive against control. Unfortunately for me this wasn't my primary hypothesis and the thing I was actually looking at had no change! But even a perceived failure is valuable scientifically.
  8. And cos the scruffy kid won't brush her hair without a fight she looks like Kurt Cobain most of the time.
  9. My daughter's new one. She didn't want to learn things like twinkle star. She says dad....teach me some rock. So her first song was a Monster Magnet one, then some Maiden. In this photo she's onto Nothing Else Matters! That's my girl.
  10. I use this... https://www.waveapps.com Easy to set up and makes great quotes, invoices and receipts and allows the customer to pay by card directly from the invoice. Not exactly what you asked for but maybe a solution. The app is free but there's a small percentage fee per payment.
  11. Another option. I've used Weebly. You can build it yourself using easy drag and drop sections. There's a free version for you to play with that has a blah blah.weebly.co.uk name or you can buy the package and they give you a free name for a year. Name is normally £11 or something for the year and the website is £50 for the year. One thing is their customer service. As I am new to this I made a mess of a couple of things and a simple email to their customer services and they sort it out straight away. I was impressed. Integrate this with gsuite and you have a [email protected] email address too. Very pro.
  12. Found some locally from Green Commerce. http://www.thelogmandarlington.co.uk Cheers.
  13. My dad is after a tonne of firewood. Who's near DL14? Send me your numbers and I'll give you a ring. Thanks.
  14. Steve, Nothing major. When you enter your location and distance from location like in the picture above, the map displays all the pins. Click on one and it shows the details etc. Then when you press the back button to find the next one on the map the search is cleared and you need to start again.
  15. If you have a conversation with the insurance company you are dealing with and tell them exactly what you are doing they will tell you exactly what you need. I did this with Arborisk and have been very happy with the advice and service I received. I wasn't sure what I needed and they told me. And it all worked out.
  16. I used to do marquees and it was a 0600 start all week and 0730 all weekend....May to October. 80 hours was a light week. You just get used to it (When you're young!)
  17. The Leica can be hired to try. £25 a week from A-plant.
  18. Leica disto d510 Well expensive but a brilliant bit of kit. Has a camera on which allows you to measure even when you can't see the dot. And it has a function that allows you to measure height without having a reflection from the top. Does it with angles.
  19. £10.5 mill flogging mince and sausages. Seems legit you lucky bugger.
  20. When I was studying we had pest and disease identification tests. 10 different pests or diseases. 30 points total for common name, scientific name, and how they caused a problem. One kid got 1 out of 30. He even got the common name of a wasp wrong. And he passed the course!
  21. I've gone with Tamar in the end after a false start with another company. Geographic number with 2500 minutes divert to mobile for 4.99 a month. Chris at Eden was good enough to refer me which means we both get £25 credit so really the number is free for 5 months. If anyone is thinking of a virtual number then ask for this referral off one of us.
