  1. Feels like a 3 way caritool might be so irritating it's not worth bothering with?
  2. I was worried about size of larger ones catching on stuff. My 2nd small one broke today with nothing on it so must have caught. Dmm then
  3. Have gone through 2 t shirts and "waterproof" jackets in the rain all day today I am seriously considering getting something posher. No snags or rips? Cuffs ok?

  7. Broke another one, have a black diamond on which is still working but the little bit that holds it in place is broke so it slops around a bit. Those dmm ones good? Worth 25quid? Anyone got anything better? The pink ones skyland sell are pretty fit
  8. Honestly I don't look at stitching often....i really should though. I do krabs when the stop clicking shut properly. Tend to notice this quickly. Check rope and friction cord often nearly daily

  14. Just been stubbornly throwing for 45mins at a big sycamore that wanted deadwooding. There was a lovely crotch which meant I would have had access to everything without moving anchor. After a lot of swearing I settled on a lesser spot......thankfully customer was out.
  15. Hopefully my 357 crank bearings will explode soon and I can send it down to him
  16. 357 is a legendary saw. Check whether it's been rebuilt with oem or Chinese. Slightly heavier than 026 but punchier. If you set up and the weight is in the cut you'll not notice. I bought one 10years ago from my old boss who had used it well and it's still going strong!
  17. Sent email, probably end up in yer spam. Based nr allendale, Northumberland. Ta
