  1. I reckon you'll be putting twice the force on the RG in that configuration.
  2. Well I didn't want to put it like that.
  3. The differences in performance are significant when you're climbing daily. Being lighter, smaller and more ergonomic is the selling point of these saws, and the echo wins on all fronts. The new models are infinitely more reliable than the early ones too.
  4. Ah, Stihl then
  5. So is Husqvarna better?
  6. To be inspirational.
  7. Holy thread revival, Batman!
  8. Punctuation: The difference between "knowing your shit" and "knowing you're shit"
  9. A knob?
  10. Why would you suggest Super Unleaded?
  11. Good of you to drop by Tony
  12. What's his dislike for the gays got to do with it?
  13. Fucks sake Mick, it's a thread about bad language!
  14. Did it let the light in?
  15. Nah, that one of you topping that little pop was a decent one.
  16. Guess I won the discussion
  17. I don't follow
  18. Ok I see your point
  19. How dare you!? Fuck off!
  20. Yup. Generally people who talk about their feelings on social media can fuck off.
  21. Same as my setup, at least 2m of it stays daisy chained the majority of the time though. Gonna get one of those funky thimble prussiks to go on it I reckon
  22. I've removed a few decent sized trees on my 2001. There've been a few times where a grcs would be nice but when you're putting the branches through a 6" chipper into a transit it's not the end of the world to have to rig slightly smaller. Are you going self employed as as climber? My 2001 has earned me fuckall extra as a subby so I wouldn't say it's worth it.
  23. Funny, I remember receiving an envelope from you one day containing £50 folding wrapped in a pair of those...
  24. Always depends on the tree, but if your groundy is bitching about tying a saw onto a rope it's gonna get ugly when he finds out that he's there to drag branches to a chipper!
  25. How much work can there even be on the ground if the climber hasn't had his saw sent up yet?
