  1. Nobody does that. Wouldn't make a difference if they did
  2. I think the problem arises when people who have only ever used inboard clutch saws move to a husky and then wonder why the clutch cover won't come off. Tendency seems to be to yank and pry it rather than stop and think. You hopefully only do it once.

Didn't reply to my email, gate was locked when we drove past. A contact number would be useful.
  4. Outstanding. Everyone knows a bloke like that.
  5. Cut leaf Beech reduction from yesterday and a bit of today. Completely pointless and a bastard of a climb with 1/3 of the canopy over slate roofs. I enjoyed it the last time I did it 4 years ago but not so much this time around.
  6. But big pharma have our best interests first and foremost in mind, surely? 🤣 Looks decent rich, I'll check it out
  7. Dopesick on Disney+ was fantastic, in a "how did this actually happen" kind of way. It follows the Oxycontin pandemic in America through the late 90s and 00s The Tourist on BBC is also quite good in a quirky modern Western kind of way. Featuring our very own @John Shutler
  8. Just remove/monolith them or walk away from the job. A reduction to a decent standard will give them nothing for their money. If you hammer then they'll need removing in a few years time anyway.
  9. My bro in law bought me a new knife set for Christmas. Its got ceramic rods mounted in the knife slots so every time you put the knife in or take it out it gives it a light hone. I was skeptical of that sort of thing but so far it seems to work well. Made by J.A HENCKELS with German steel.
  10. That's why I asked mate, I've asked you about doing my old 201 a while back and you told us not with going that far as you get most of the results from the exhaust mod or something to the effect. I've noticed a lot of people seem to thing that porting is mashing a drill bit through your exhaust cover and that's it.
  11. There was me thinking you were all fart and no poo 🤣 Worth it, I'll take my chances 😁
  12. How long have you gotta take it easy for? I'm waiting for an appointment to get mine looked at. Hopefully it's not but can't see what else it would be
  13. Generally speaking, those who don't care for a response don't tend to quote the other party for their attention. You seem lonely.
  14. Called the doc today to book an appointment. Had a dull pain just next to my willy since before Christmas. Got a few moles to check out while I'm there. It's 4 weeks before they can even give me a time slot. I hope I'm still alive to take that call
  15. One of the biggest dangers I regularly face using a chainsaw from a rope and harness is the unwanted female attention it gathers. I've almost slipped and drowned in clunge more than once
  16. If Stratford isn't too far get in touch with matt Brooker at Treesense
  17. My older huskies have always done it. Not enough of a problem for me to start stripping them down to fix. Just don't put them down on slabs or block paving.
  18. Most of my rigging kit goes into one of these 60l blue barrels: 60 L Plastic Blue UN Approved Open Top Drum OIPPS.CO.UK That fits 60m of 14mm rope, 3 or so various pulley and sling variations and the 2001 fixed bollard and back up sling. Bloody heavy though, I'm keeping an eye out for a little sack trolley to strap it to.
  19. You don't know what you're talking about. You're whole argument comes from "it didn't feel right in my tummy". I've been climbing for over a decade. Pete has more than double that time under his belt. You might do well to listen to people rather than try and convince everyone that we're wrong with your few weeks experience.
  20. Don't bother Pete, he's just scared of his climbing kit and making up rubbish to justify it.
  21. I've always thought I'd enjoy prison for the same reasons but after a while I'd have to calm down and leave the other inmates alone
