    Did that once with an echo 2511 in a car park while trying to figure out an oil issue. Clutch spun off and bounced a couple of times. Managed to catch it before it fucked off across the car park but I wasn't wearing gloves and it was still spinning a few thousand rpms 🤣

    Stick with it, and make sure the particular tree lends itself to srt. There are plenty of trees that are just plain easier in ddrt. Big spready prunes are probably the most obvious srt trees. You have to plan differently and look for the redirect opportunities to keep your rope above you. The downside is you then have to go back up through those redirects.

    I've got a lid with sena installed by Graham too. The comms have boring to do with it. The smell comes from the sweatband which velcros off and sometimes the ear defenders. You can chuck the headband in the washing machine on high to clean it, and they're cheap enough to keep a couple spare to change them every few weeks. Get new hygiene kits for the ears.

    I think the problem arises when people who have only ever used inboard clutch saws move to a husky and then wonder why the clutch cover won't come off. Tendency seems to be to yank and pry it rather than stop and think. You hopefully only do it once.

    Cut leaf Beech reduction from yesterday and a bit of today. Completely pointless and a bastard of a climb with 1/3 of the canopy over slate roofs. I enjoyed it the last time I did it 4 years ago but not so much this time around.

    Dopesick on Disney+ was fantastic, in a "how did this actually happen" kind of way. It follows the Oxycontin pandemic in America through the late 90s and 00s The Tourist on BBC is also quite good in a quirky modern Western kind of way. Featuring our very own @John Shutler

    Just remove/monolith them or walk away from the job. A reduction to a decent standard will give them nothing for their money. If you hammer then they'll need removing in a few years time anyway.

    My bro in law bought me a new knife set for Christmas. Its got ceramic rods mounted in the knife slots so every time you put the knife in or take it out it gives it a light hone. I was skeptical of that sort of thing but so far it seems to work well. Made by J.A HENCKELS with German steel.

    That's why I asked mate, I've asked you about doing my old 201 a while back and you told us not with going that far as you get most of the results from the exhaust mod or something to the effect. I've noticed a lot of people seem to thing that porting is mashing a drill bit through your exhaust cover and that's it.

    Called the doc today to book an appointment. Had a dull pain just next to my willy since before Christmas. Got a few moles to check out while I'm there. It's 4 weeks before they can even give me a time slot. I hope I'm still alive to take that call
