  1. You're my favourite punter. At work we call you "quick off the Mark"...
  2. I know, I just can't afford that many socks and t shirts, and lizzie is frankly lacking on the washing front.
  3. Haha "poplar cavity" would surely be, well, popular. It's funny how many people expect a lad to graft their balls of and not smell.
  4. I wear the same socks and t shirt all week long. The lads I work with are lucky if they don't get a sweaty cuddle on Friday.
  5. I'd rather my passengers smelt of 2 stroke and b.o than of a poofs armpit.
  6. Thanks for explaining. All the worst points of a smoker. Come to think of it there aren't many good points for it...
  7. Fair play. I have a strict "no cocaine after noon" rule. Helps me sleep at night. And to prevent this post from being a derail: grafter with a positive mental attitude. The rest can be taught.
  8. It did, for a week. Then I got wasted and it went on the shelf for a while.
  9. By the way, Hodge, care to justify the non smoking stipulation? I just couldn't let it go
  10. It is. I'm intolerant by nature and every time I see someone dragging their feet or prattling about my stress levels spike. I'm working on being more loveable though!
  11. I wouldn't say that was too much to ask. I take exception to the non-smoking part but then I would. He's not asking for loads of qualifications, just a decent work ethic. Does seem difficult to find at the moment though.
  12. Does it? Only for insurance purposes really.
  13. You're both maniacs! It's 4x! To be honest, I've never checked. I've had tails under 1cm before and I'm still here. Hitch cord doesn't last long enough to faff about taping tails.
  14. I'd second the above. Comfort wise they are similar fit to the HiFlex, but lighter, stretchier and a helluva lot more robust. I did a review on this site a while back. I'll find the link. For the money I doubt you'd be disappointed. Edit: http://arboristreviews.co.uk/reviews/arbortec-breatheflex-type-c-chainsaw-trousers/
  15. In a nutshell. They almost never bend, either.
  16. You filthy git! Let's see who's got deeper pockets: and employed climber vs a northerner
  17. Good man Steve. I'm currently winning I don't even need a 3rd set!
  18. No criticism from me mate. Good job considering how hard it was cut. I'd imagine an adamant client? There will be plenty along to stick the knife in though!
  19. Proper rape and shape I do wonder just how much good those remaining growth points are doing though!
  20. Apparently this is a common problem. People often walk into the phone shop and accidentally leave with a Samsung.
  21. Nice fell. Out of interest why did you leave branches on the first one? Must have involved changing your strops over.?
  22. Usually on a brand new lanyard that I've just spliced and stitched My last one I picked a single strand (not cut) about halfway along. Had to go up the line of the rope with a penknife every turn to pull the strand straight again!
  23. That's another way of saying "Silky"
