  1. I’m not worried about if it’s CE marked or not. Just asking more about user reviews on the harness
  2. Does anyone on here have one of these? Just wondering what they are like for comfort etc....
  3. Also got a fairly decent bike pump from amazon for £22 which is rated to 220psi
  4. It’s very simple to assemble. 1. Order all the pipe fittings on the list 2. Order the threaded valves and 2 rolls of ptfe tape 3. Drill an 8mm hole in the end cap and bolt the tyre valve in 4. Wrap all the threaded parts of the pipe work with 12(ish) wraps of ptfe tape 5. Screw all the fitting together and tighten, charge with air and check for leaks. The fittings can only go in one place as the bits are different sizing. Any problems PM me and I’ll help out. Im sure other people will have ways to make this better. Please feel free to add any better points to the list
  5. Here’s a video of me firing it into a Scott’s pine at home. Crotch we got the string line through was around 20m up. Got it on the third go with about 90psi behind the bag. The way I have it set up it would take a 10-12oz throw bag. IMG_1373.MOV
  6. Only other bits you need is a roll or two of PTFE tape and some threaded tyre valves. Something like the first ones in the picture below.
  7. Website I ordered all the bits from was, Stainless Steel, Black Malleable, Galvanised, Copper Pipe Fitting Supplier WWW.PIPEDREAMFITTINGS.COM Buy Pipe Fittings any material. Buy online from UK's leading pipe fitting supplier. Best Pipe Fitting Prices available Online... I’ve also included the invoice of what I ordered. I’m sure if you phoned and gave the order number they can replicate the order. Took about a week to get sorted and sent out. I’ll get a video up tomorrow.
  8. Yes. I drilled the end cap on the air tank part to take a bolt in tyre valve so can be pump up with a compressor or a foot pump etc...
  9. It’s all galvanised metal tubing. Some of the ones I watched on YouTube were plastic or a metal/plastic mix. I thought to make it last as long as possible I’d do it all out of metal.
  10. I’ll get a video tomorrow
  11. A few weeks ago me and a friend were dead wooding a load of Scott’s pines. Unhelpfully someone had cut all the lower branches off for the first 15-20 metres so had to use throw lines to get a line set in the tree. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m pretty awful with a throw line. Made the weeks dead wooding harder than it needed to be. Had spent some time reading through the post below about which catapult to buy and watched a few videos on YouTube about catapults and came across a video of a guy who had built an air launcher in the states for very little money. After a bit of trawling on the internet I build this below, cost £60 in materials and about half an hour to assemble. Very easy. If anyone wants a cutting list to build it let me know.
  12. Just bought a 450 variant which is having some work done to it. The current grinding wheel has rayco teeth fitted. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can buy a multi tip type wheel so I can fit either multi tip or rhino teeth to the machine?
  13. Milwaukee tools are very good. Mate who runs a garage has stopped buying snapon stuff in favour of Milwaukee
  14. I had been told by a B&S dealer locally to me that there have been a few problems with parts from B&S. They had recently got a new company to install a better software system for telling them parts production, stock, location etc... worldwide. The company who provided the new software didn’t back up the old system and the new system when it went live lost all the existing information. This meant B&S had/have no idea on current stock levels, location of parts, what was being produced etc...... I got told this happened a little while ago but they are only just getting things back to sorted now, with them back to 100% by January. Could all be rubbish but was a rumour I heard circulating
  15. What part of Surrey?
  16. I went through this and ended up buying a new chipper 2 years ago to avoid break downs and down time. Unfortunately the chipper I purchased has broken down 3 times in two years, twice It’s been backed to the dealers for 5-6 weeks while they wait for parts and I’d not been offered a loan machine to while mine was being repaired. I’m now in the position where I’m half way through the finance and the machine has lost half its value so if I walk away I’ll come out with nothing. If I could rewind the clock I’d buy an older machine and get it refurbed so it’s as good as new and doesn’t have all the electronics on it.
  17. Go and try on the trousers rather than buying them in the hope they fit you well. I’ve got a pair of Pfanner arborist trousers, the gladiators are a funny cut for me and don’t fit me well at all. Really nice trousers, but the ones that fit me the best and are the most comfortable for me are the breathflex so I have a pair of those as well
  18. Does anyone have one of these and have any good/bad words to say about them? My current echo long reach hedge cutter is 3+ years old now, it’s getting noisier, vibes are getting worse, and like me it takes a while to get going in the morning. What battery and how many of them do you have to get through a day? Looking at making the jump to an electric long reach and keeping the petrol on hand to deal with the rough horrible stuff.
  19. Sent you a PM
  20. There’s this one in Sussex
  21. Can you just get the same diameter rope but longer and run it through the zillion?
  22. By chance does the 361 have a 3/4 wrap handle on it?
  23. What bar sizes do people recommend to run on the above saws?
  24. If you want it your more than welcome to it. No one else seems to want it.
