  1. Will do. I’m doing my cs39 next week and a couple of days of Fencing but will get some video clips when it’s out the week after.
  2. No complaints from me with the 150p. I wanted a bigger machine as the cs100 was a pain for to to get loaded so a lot of the time I didn't bother taking a chipper, or subbed in a friend with his road tow. Again I bought without getting a demo or even looking at one. For the few extra ££££ I thought I might as well get the larger machine the 150p. Very happy and got through everything I put through it. Highly recommended. If I could rewind the clock I probably would have bought the bigger machine or maybe the 130 from the start. But the it all comes down to cash flow, I put £5k down then £240 a month for 4 years. If you can afford it and your work dictates it get a larger machine. If you only do lots of little jobs where the majority of stuff is sub 3" then the cs100 will do you fine.
  3. The cs100 was a brilliant little machine. I brought it after reading all the good reviews and never having tried on. Copied really well with almost anything we through at it, all the people I subbed to with it were amazed as well. We did some massive beech trees with it and all the waste went through the chipper no problem. Any thing 3-4" the customer wanted for logs. I sold it because putting dead wood or bigger bits through use to shake you to pieces, you being the stress control. Getting it out of the shed, and loading it onto the trailer took quite a while and wasn't a one man job for me. And then just volume of stuff to be chipped. If your just starting out the a cs100 is an excellent machine, get one on demo and see if it's what you need.
  4. Just flicking through this post. I went through this at the beginning of the yard. My faithful old hayter s**t it’s self end of last year so needed a replacement. After looking at all the options near to me I ended up buying a Weibang 56 pro, and it’s been a fantastic mower. I’ve even had other contactors come and have a look/go with it as they’ve been so impredded with the finish. Only downside to the mower is it’s weight, around 70 kg.
  5. It’s between 4-5 hours of chipping time so probably not far off yours.
  6. I’ve just got the 150P. Couldn’t be happier with it. I started with a cs100 as my first chipper but wanted something bigger. After looking at lots of second hand hand decided to buy new so I wasn’t buying someone else’s problems. My local dealer was offering the 150p for £1000 + vat more than the 130. Has it out on its first proper outing last week chipping conifer and was really impressed. With two of us feeding it we struggled to keep up, not a massive drag. Filled my transit 3 times and the Landy tipper once on 18l of fuel.
  7. Niwaki make the best tripod ladders, build quality is very good. Unfortunately they only have the single leg adjustment so out of the list above it’s the three leg adjustable to me.

    Echo 281WES

I've got a 550xp, ms361, and an ms461 so plenty of other options for cutting larger things. Just want something for light pruning and something for by the chipper.

    Echo 281WES

Does anyone have any views good or bad on the echo 281WES? I'm after a really lite little ground saw for pruning and a bit of snedding. And at £260 they're cheap as well.
  10. I've got the echo pole saw. It's adjustable length and you can get a 4ft extension. It's advertised as being able to have the hedge trimmer head fitted. I've used it on some tall hedges and wide ones, becomes a little hard to use when extended and with the 4ft extension but has saved me a few times.
  11. I might have mine for sale soon. It's become a real pain in the a**e to start. Going to drop it into the dealer and see what they say
  12. For the last two or three years I've been using invoices2go to do all my invoicing. It's now coming up to renewal time again and the pro plan has gone up to £100 for the year. Can anyone recommend another invoice app that works on the same basis and can take card payments like invoices2go does? cheers all
  13. We use it in our rideon mowers. They're always picking up punctures and got fed up with putting tubes in all the time. Haven't had any flats since we started using it.
  14. That the only thing I'm thinking. That for more than half as much HP again it will only produce get through another half a ton of waste. The dealer has said he's sold a lot of 130's to people in my situation and no body has even complained about its lack of ability. I did look at the 160, but the nearest dealer being bloody miles away put it out of the question for me.
  15. The 150 is a 37hp petrol Briggs and Stratton air cooled engine, can process 3.5 tons per hour. The 130 is a 23hp Honda engine that can process 3 tons per hour. Both under 750kg, and with exception to the engines they're pretty similar
  16. My local dealer is doing the 130 for £10995 + VAT and the 150 is £11950 + VAT. Thats my thinking, if I'm spending that much money I might as well spend another £1k + VAT to get the bigger machine. Only downside is the 130 is in stock and the 150 will be in towards the end of September.
  17. Before I sign the papers on a new 130, the greenmech dealer is doing the arb 150 with a 37hp B&S vanguard petrol engine for £1000 more. I'm just wondering if I spend the extra now and get the larger machine? It lists the throughput as 3.5 tons per hour, where as the 130 is listed at 3 tons per hour. cheers all
  18. Thanks for the replys. After a lot of trawling the internet last night I decided on the greenmech. Like mentioned above it's silly little things that swung the decision, no a braked chassis, engine exposed etc.... Also my local GM dealer in less than half an hour away, timberwolf dealer is more like 1 hour 30 mins away.
  19. After a few weeks of looking at chippers and nothing I fancy coming up for sale I'm now looking at buying new. Both the timberwolf and the greenmech work out about the same price and from what I can tell there is very little difference between them. Has anyone got any comments on either machine, good or bad? Ive been looking for a comparison between the two but not had much luck. I'm hoping someone of here can sway me one way or the other. Cheers All
  20. Looking into buying a sub 750kg road tow chipper and a camon c275 has come up for sale on eBay fairly local to me. There's not much in the way of reviews on them so does anyone have any reviews of them good or bad? cheers all
  21. I'll have a look for a second hand kubota. At the moment the nearest one is 125 miles away so a bit of driving may be involved.
  22. Currently look after quite a few houses that have large lawn. I'm after a new cut and collect ride on mower, got £3k to spend. Currently use and older husqvarna ride on. Considering the use it gets it's been good as gold. Looking at either a Husqvarna tc239t or a tc142t both retail around £2.5k. Didn't know if anyone has any experience of these or can recommend something similar? My local dealer that I've just purchased my new roller mower from is trying to talk me into a Murray MRD200 which he has said is just a rebranded snapper mower but I can find very little in the way of reviews for these. Only reason I'm looking at Huskys is my previous ones have been relatively hassle free. Probably do about 20 hours min a week. Cheers all
  23. I'm after a new roller mower as my faithful old hayter s**t it's self last year. After something something that I can get from one of my local dealers so support and parts are close to hand. Locally to me I've got Husqvarna, Lawnflight, Weibang, and Hugh page who sell stiga and Honda. I'm looking at the Weibang 56 pro, looks like a well put together machine but is heavy. Does anyone have any experience with these or anything else to recommend? Unfortunately one of my local dealer who did greenmech, John Deere etc... has closed down (can't remember their name, they were just outside hailsham on the a22) Cheers all
  24. Went and had a look at the Weibang pro today. Impressive mower, lots of nice features but sadly doesn't have a blade break. Really well built and has a Kawasaki engine. Only real down side I could see was it weighs 70kg. Does anyone have any experience of the John Deere mowers, I'm sure they're probably re branded from another make but I've got a dealer fairly near to me.
  25. Most of the people I cut grass for want stripes in the lawn. If I didn't stripe the lawn they would get someone who will stripe it. Yes it would probably be easier to use a 4 wheeled mower but it's what the customer wants.
