  1. keep the spring rain off them...
  2. Well, I speak not much swedish either, but he's saying the stihl is shite, the husky is ok but the echo tops them both.
  3. BTW, both saws would be stretching your budget....?
  4. There's not much in it really, both are good machine and would suit your intended use. The husky has a slight edge engine wise and is marginally less plasticky. Regardless of that I'd just go with what brand's dealer is closest/ most capable.
  5. Sub it out, barbed wire is haram....
  6. Arbtalk has its very own (tapatalk derived?) App! You'll fund it in the app-store/ Google play.
  7. They'll never do that surely? ;-) :-)
  8. A small dent to grip, but bulging on the other side?
  9. If you can make a dent in a bar with a pinch bolt, you've either got a chocolate bar or you're more of a man then most, with less mechanical sympathy than Clarkson I'd say. :-)
  10. Most likely causes would be (in rough order) bar rails not worn evenly.> check with set-square and dress if and when needed. Chain not sharpened evenly. > measure, use a guide/ tool etc. Bar rails splayed causing chain wobble. > check with a drive link, pinch in vice if needed, dress bar afterwards. Pinch bolts.? Bar bent.> straighten it if its a real good bar, Chuck it if not a sugi/cannon/equivalent.
  11. Might know a place, how much, and when?
  12. Just chip? And where in Lincoln?
  13. Whereabouts in ne Scotland? I play with Christmas trees a bit in the harvest season, black isle and Elgin area.
  14. Hayauchi!
  15. Or just open your eyes and be done in an hour! :-)
  16. A quick Google suggests its a 4.8-8, for which tubes are cheap and plentiful on ebay, less than a fiver. Get a spare...
  17. Yes I think it is. If you search for the various Aspen threads on here (a very similar fuel with similar costs and benefits) you'll get a vast amount of info and opinions.
  18. Even without the Buck, and no engine on the chipper? (The pto version of a tw150 only weighs 400kg's) The Cummins 6bt as found in the ram will also fit in a defender, and a land cruiser. As used in quite a few 7.5t wagons its quite an easy one to get hold of too.
  19. Towbar on the front bumper, spout extension over the cab, sorted.
  20. Oiling issue causing the chain to heat, expand and get unreasonably loose the more you cut?
  21. http://
  22. (Post number two, can't copy the pic on the phone?) In this picture: The brown powdery look of the hinge would indicate rot. The sort of starry/radiating look is where the timber is affected by the rot. It's hard to say from a picture just how much it's been affected, but it doesn't look good. Hitting it with a hammer would help assess but hard=good is slightly oversimplified.
  23. Thanks for the update Graham:biggrin: And some fine pics as well:thumbup1:
  24. Both:thumbup:
