  1. My old boss had a fordson major we used on a swipe mower, it had a light board with tail and indicator on back and side and indicator on front so when working no lights just lifted board off. You should be able to cobble something up.
  2. This time of year on grass with a transit even with off road tyres it's going to sink in a bit or more, this has to be a joke. Best option would run on ground matts like ply or similar
  3. That's probably the trouble ares gets blocked right at the top and it will not draw.
  4. Split when green is easier, left some for a couple of years then tried splitting it with a hy_crack splitter on a 90hp tractor and a stooled it many times.
  5. Second that great service and delived to door so no running about for it.
  6. Laid some big Hawthorn hedges in the past and bought a Stihl ms230 running a 3/8 lp chain great saw light weight with plenty of poke.
  7. Great job, what's with spider parked in drive but not used.
  8. Setting a new fashion trend then.
  9. Leave it till tomorrow and try it.
  10. Tell him it's knackered and keep it for your self. Have you flushed cylinder with neat petrol to get rid of all diesel.
  11. 8x4 sheet of 9mm is an ass to handle by yourself so big will be worse still would recommend you try handling them before buying. Unless you are going to cut them in half. Got my 8x4 from Mcveigh Parker don't know if you have a branch near you but Internet price is more then what I paid but do buy a lot of fencing materials off them.
  12. Did you shop around, there not the cheapest
  13. Not a Timberwolf 190 but 2016 GREENMECH ARBTRAK 190 For Sale in Newcastle Upon Tyne | MachineryTrader United Kingdom WWW.MACHINERYTRADER.CO.UK 2016 GREENMECH ARBTRAK 190 For Sale in Newcastle Upon Tyne at MachineryTrader United Kingdom
  14. It depends what you are running over it with that's why I went for 9mm as wanted to be able to run tractor and trailer on it needed and hire MEWP weighing in at 8T plus. 9mm is a bit of a pain to pick up as floppy so 3mm would be a nightmare, my plan is to drill a hole in ends a pull about with hooked pole. Also trying to work out a rack so can stand them down side of trailer so machine is not loaded on top of them on trailer.
  15. Was thinking just the same, and the grass looks mowed as well. If you do access ground without permission the may ask about cross contamination to ground copied this from an email i got from council a coupe of years ago but as we know no one dose; Cross-contamination Where there is a risk of transferring pathogens to vegetation at other sites, felling and pruning equipment must be disinfected after use. Also consider brushing mud and debris from soles of boots, and spraying boots and vehicle tyres before leaving the site (possible disinfectants include Virkon, ethanol and industrial methylated spirits). All disinfectants should be used in accordance with the recommended safety precautions (refer to the material data safety sheet for each product).
  16. Spectrum plant have a 150 or has it got to be a 190.
  17. Just bought some 9mm stokboard for running small loader, tracked MEWP and digger, chuck it down and backed loaded ifor on it the other day minutes after it pissed down no makes. It's not cheep but never gets heavier when wet and it is a bit flexable but that is good if ground is up and down. If ask a company how make ground matts out of the same stuff 11.6mm they use is rated at 30ton load
  18. Would be useless for the last month rain more or less every day.

  22. Quicker with small loader or even digger with grab on.
  23. Just dice it from the top down you have got to break 42" rings down to pick by hand anyway. And if stumps are being ground out wll not matter what last cut if like.
