  1. Lockjack, dmm hitch climber x3 dmm pinto x6 -1 gave one to a friend, ISC rigging blocks x5 rope wrench zk2 next week will be x2 a grand total of 57 karabiners including 15 steel ones, 4 rigging plates of different sizes, 18 slings of various sizes for rigging and 5 climbing slings, 4 climbing lines 5 next week when my Yale kernmaster arrives, then a bag full of odds and sods more binas, slings, pulleys, hitch cord, a brand new still in the box art cocoon pulley, and god only knows what else
  2. Great post Ian I find we model the society we live in, I also feel we that our children are also modelled upon what we believe to be right! What we believe to be true! What we believe we want them to be! Alex asked me a question the other day, "Adam can we get maisy's ears peirced" I said no? Why? Not because I don't want her to have it done I just think that I want her to choose! I want her to be the one who asks the questions! I want her to be the one who makes the decision to do what she wants to do!. I was never pushed to do things as a child, a teenager, an adult, I was given the chance to choose, and this is how I want to see maisy grow up!. What do I want? I just want to be happy!
  3. Can't see that being an issue, look at the unicender! Don't think anyone has had an issue with that? I maybe wrong? As for clothing where supposed to keep things tight ain't we? None snag clothing? Well guess we will all see once it comes out mate
  4. I heard Velcro As for the thread, I'm not going to get into all the bollox about what's better and what's not, it's all about getting the job done and done safe, when it comes to rigging I don't cut corners, so using slings to speed the process up is more logic than anything else....after all slow is smooth smooth is fast! As long as your working within all your equipments safe working load limits then I don't see why your all debating it? Slings for limbs, hitches for timber for me, everyone has there way, and if its safe then fair do's...... The only knots I use in rigging is a figure 8 stopper and sometimes a bowline and or running bowline..... Hitches no glitches IME
  5. The six inch QuickDraw is perfect with an oval crab, but it really depends on the length of your hitch, Simon dabbling in SRT will only lead to one thing mate? The retirement of your rope guide..... Go for it mate even if you use it for access and chogging down a stem, I honestly would not use Ddrt again unless for some reason I could not use the wrench, which the only reason I could think of is I forget it....... but that would never happen as its always the first thing in the truck:blushing:
  6. I agree with rob mate, a warrior would not go into battle with a blunt sword or blunt arrows would he??? If my saw us not 100% when I'm felling then it gets a tickle, could of been worst but it come down and safe so that's the main thing, Here is one of my hinges from another thread about 45% gob, side leaner so needed maximum holding wood on the hinge for it to fall right
  7. Thanks guys I'll take a look at both they are also within my budget Thanks
  8. You can't use it Srt on its own mate, its designed for Ddrt
  9. Your right mate its not mid line attachable but that to me is only a tiny weeny problem just as the spiderjack, the lockjack is mid line attachable which makes it a little more versatile, I have used them for over ten years now and can not fault them one little bit, the zigzag to me looks a great piece of enginuity, think I will be using mine with the rope wrench? We will see:thumbup1:
  10. Yes mate all cams are replaceable
