Happy bday mate It is late but my views and opinions don't change at different times of day Yes I agree with you on the pharmaceutical side having bad apples mate, it also goes for technology also there has been some major cock ups in that industry side, but my point being for all the bad the good out ways ten fold.

To be honest mate I don't watch a lot of telly, I don't read a lot of news papers either, the reason behind this IMO and I do state this my honest opinion, they talk more crap than the people we put in charge of the country, wait a minute ok maybe not that much crap but they do dribble! Lazy??? Come on mate we are buy no means lazy if anything we are miles to active and I'm not talking everyone's individual excise or will to do something about something! I'm talking about what we have achieved how far technology has come, pharmaceuticals, ect! We stopped evolving physicly years ago, but mentally we evolve every day. The damage is done though so what ever or how much we evolve just does not matter, you could even say we will be the victim of our own success!

Our time is up when our time is up! Simples we don't get to decided when or who or how, it happens! It a always has happened! Even the smallest of micro living organisms live and inevitably die! It's the way it's been since way before time began. Now sitting there pondering, contemplating on thinking about thinking is going to get you nowhere telling everyone about it is going to get you nowhere! Even having a voice and preaching about it??? Will still get you nowhere! Why????? Because to many people believe in living for now! To many people believe that my first sentence is all but 100% true, people believe that one day they will have there mortgage paid or or own that car they always wanted even take the holiday that they have worked so hard to enjoy! Do you know what I believe???? I believe that when the earth is ready she will let us know how she feels! She will let us see how she feels! Hear how she feels! It's just a shame none of us on the forum or in the next 5000 years will ever get to see, hear or feel any of it! It's so sad to see some people argue over who's right and who's wrong when it comes to saving the planet because at the end of the day the truth is we can't! WHY? Because we're to dammed selfish that's why!

So since I've had the zk2 rope wrench and a bit before that I had set up a variation of a single prohaska hitch and I'm amazed how well it works, ok so maybe not every rope cord is the same but I've had green ocean poly on both orange tachyon and green Marlow Aries and both ropes the hitch is so responsive even with the extra weight of a big saw on me it still did not lock up and every time the hitch has gone from loose on ascent to decent mode it grabs every time with literally half inch sit back, I'll get a couple of pictures up later but anyone with the arbtalk knot guide can find it in the hitch section the only difference being its a single, all you have to do is we're the dead end is terminated with the figure if 8 just use that side as another leg on the bina!

I once put a thread up in here about blue barrels for lowering kits! Well whist trawling through the Internet came across a site which was like prepping for all the stuff and apparently this one bloke had 30 or 40 of these buried all over his county???? Nout like being prepared but I'm afraid if anything did happen like this you would more than likely be murdered than dehydrate or starve to death, its a crazy world but Everyman on this planet would kill if it really came to it, protecting family ect ect! It's bound to happen sooner or later the weather patterns of the last 10 years all point to some kind of super storm, solar storm ect ect! You see I don't believe in god and I'm sure as hell knows he don't believe in me either but what I do know is life always finds away! Maybe it's for the best, maybe something big happening is what this world needs to happen wipe out 75% of mankind that should help it along for another few million years

Having own and used both zk1 and zk2 the zk2 is far superior and with the tether I use it has hardly any sit back apart from the hitch itself! I hated the zk1 and to me I thought sod it, working Srt was not for me but being inquizative I wanted to try it again so being a gear junky myself got the zk2 and I have never enjoyed climbing so much it makes the crap jobs good jobs and the best jobs amazing, if I'm honest I don't like the look of the hitch hiker and would never buy one, but that does not mean I wouldn't try it out. I'm hooked on Srt so the way i look at the wrench is why fix something that ain't broken?

Another question mate, you say it's cheaper than a sling and pulley but it also says you can't use just one as a primary rigging anchor you must use more than one? Is that still saving money? Never the less great stuff and would more than likely be buying a couple Nice video too mate
