  1. I would miss...... Pine. And conifer sap, long drags, waiting 10 minutes to get the rigging line back, dog poo, loading mahoosive rings on the truck, doing reductions while its raining, oh yeah my favourite wet ropes...., working for customers that have everything but don't know how to use the kettle, customers that tell you how much it's let the light in, getting my rope guide stuck? Oh wait a minute I don't use one anymore:sneaky2:, I would really miss when the customer lets there dog out and the first thing it wee's up is either your rope or if your super lucky your helmet, the last cut on a job before your decent and you run out of fuel, getting home and then spend 2/3 hours with phone calls and paper work or pricing up more work, I love it also when I get home from a hard days graft and have to cook my own tea as the misses is at work.... Everything that I hate now I would miss I would hate to have to pack up, I live for this ****
  2. I think what happens over time most of the injuries happen from lack of concentration, everyone is so used to using a chainsaw and avoiding chainsaw rash they forget about the little things, and a silky is one of them, a mixture of all the above comments but words that sticks out the most is complacency, and just pure ignorance, Saying that been bitten several times so I'm no better, slings are good to cut and catch, sling the branch you would normally hold cut it replace saw in sheave then remove sling and throw.......simples, but not very efficient....
  3. Great video mate, and love the photos on Instagram Again slings way easier bro, but never the less great stuff:thumbup1:
  4. Does your country's legislation state why it's not an authorised methord? Thanks for the post Adam
  5. Did not mean it sarcastically buddy just did not know if you see his signature or location. And the area code is also wolves... This is also why I said near....
  6. Should imagine somewhere near wolves mate:thumbup1:
  7. Would be gutted now if something happened that I was unable to use the wrench, even contemplating on getting another wrench and a few Spare pins just incase Not used it with the lock jack yet or on my Aries so seem as though I have wet ropes again tomorrow might be the day:thumbup1:
  8. Not good dak, Not yet but would seem real freakish for it to do it anyway, and super freakish for it to get stuck that it exits both holes. Be nice to no if anyone else has had it happen also:001_huh: Always carry a figure of 8 with me for just that reason of the wrench not being there for whatever reason
  9. Thee exact one mate? Great stuff, back when stumps were stumps and you was you.....
  10. Marlow Aries is not whipped? I do understand the splice whipping and loler but if its come out the factory without it what makes it different from one that had it but is either damaged or removed?

  12. Sorry pat never see your post till now, I've not done anything to the sling as of yet as I'm loving it the way it is, maybe when I get a chance to play I'll try out some different stuff but for now its ace and love it.... Everyone that's using Yale kernmaster what's it like using toothed ascenders does it fray bad or is it quite tuff? Thanks in advance Adam:thumbup1:

  15. Release date is February 2013 and price may vary but similar price to the lock jack spider jack price around the £200 mark
  16. This is the way I see it, last time my 020 went tits up I had a full service and a carb change for just £168, since then its been a fantastic saw, like new in fact, now I love that saw and its sentimentle value to me so replacing it with any saw is going to be hard, but my heart tells me its time to change and having seen tried and used both the 201t and the t540 I really have to say there's only one winner, I hate the 201t with a passion it's ill balanced, sluggish, gutless and over rated by people who have purchased it and only prase it because deep down they know its a pile of poo, and kick there selfs for buying one:001_tt2: na I'm only jesting but its just not my cup of tea,,,,, De ja vous I sincerely hope not my friend for the sakes of husky them selfs:laugh1: I'm sure it will be out February mate:sneaky2:
