  1. You only live once, put yourself out there, don't dwindle don't dawdle just get on and do it, take what ever work comes your way! For what ever money you can take, because believe me or not if you don't then you won't get recognised!! Forget the climbing for now and put yourself out as a freelance brash dragger/groundy it's never going to buy you a magnum ice cream but it will get you a 20p ice pop!!! And that for a start is all you need! Your 18 presumingly still living with parents/parent? At that age all you need to worry about is where your next beer is coming from! So a firm I do a lot of contract climbing for got called out early in the week to a branch failure on a beech tree in Lincoln, I didn't go to tidy it up but was told about it and was asked to get it on the ground ASAP, so Daz the guy who's firm it is organised it for today. Nice refreshing down poor from start to finish never the less I enjoyed my self. I think the culprit may have been polyporus squamous see what you guys think. Awesome guys Gear and techniques on show will be old school Prussic and blakes hitches with the possibility of some even old school 3 strand to show those who have never seen it done using that kind of rope before, an array of different setups using pulleys such as the DMM hitchclimber, pinto and ISC fixed and swing cheek pulleys, the O-rig and M-method will both be demonstrated along with a few other methods, SRT Systems including all 3 revolutionary SRTWP setups the rope wrench the hitchhiker and the unicender. Rescue setups and scenarios will also be demoed. We will also be modelling Treeshirtz so you will get to see first hand how good they look especially on me!!! Hi all, Nomadic climbers and UK's tallest trees are coming together at Jonies Arb and Forestry event where we will be putting on a show of the evolution of climbing, An array of climbing techniques used in yesteryear to present day! We will be doing live demos ranging from the most basic! to some of the most advanced climbing techniques there are available.
