1. I worry being over wieght it's to tempting to brim my 10x7x4 chip box If the updated springs don't frown your ok . Still toying with the 6.5iveco and rather huge chip box
2. Get some pics and basic plans up to plum into my 125 hydrolics
3. Had another look on hmrc. Both these jobs are excluded from cis so emailing website link to both company's with invoices again But seems my future jobs will be due to there nature, I won't just price off the top off my head eithier, itl be proper pen to paper hourly rate Mine field out there but I'm learning fast
4. Sound. Il redo invoices and get onto hmrc ASAP. Cheers again folks much appreciated
5. Hmrc say work on private households don't count under cis. That one bit cleared up. The next site was land for sale just a tidy up, il keep digging. I best register anyways as if more work comes I best be prepared and professional , means also when hunting for work Im ready to start Cheers folks
6. I just seen this , so thoughtful post it. These jobs don't count but I guess a site clearance for a new build would (best plan my estimate carefully for next job) ----- Basically the answer is no, unless the tree work for any particular job is being done as part of a larger construction scheme eg landscaping a new site etc. In which case, CIS would apply but ONLY for that particular job. So if client spends most of his year doing forest management then no CIS, but if works as part of a larger construction site then CIS applies. and client would need to obtain a CIS ref number.
7. Exactly what I was thinking. Il check up on hmrc site tonight and if true send them the link. I'm not a builder so I'm not in there tax circle. If rather pay my tax when in good and ready thanks
8. Afaik --- yes they did say labour but I just give a price to do it outright. Next time il break it down. Then they will see we don't earn the whole lot
9. 1 job tidying up roadside hedges of a bit land for sale. The other a conifer removal. Jobs nothing special but they have future work so need to think about pricing. Don't want to feel I'm being robbed
10. Both private sites. I've done the owners house a few times. You might think the 20% isn't much but me being so small it is. They way my tax works its so low it doesn't exist. Well at least this and next year. Not a cis registerd contractor either. Surely they can't do it with everybody, as I'm not in the construction trade loop
11. Evening. Today I invoiced a construction company. They claim they deduct 20%. I'm like hold on a second. What's the crack here folks does anyone know. I'm not vat registerd either This time thou they said redo invoice as consultancy fees and it won't get 20% deducted Could do with a bit info as work for a roofing company to price tomorrow. Didn't like the idea of them taking 20% off my £450. The cheek of it
12. It's the one 'predator' posted chaps. Weighing up loads of different vehicles. Which ever vehicle I get il just go with a canny chip box. As have access but not instantly to hiab so all is cool
13. Average mpg as looked at one the other day. Cheers
14.
Hello mate. I might be looking for a splitter. U mentioned u may have one. Details. Cheers man

15. I thought changing bearings would be hard work but after using a tractor to lift off the hopper etc in one go it's not to bad a job.
16. This motor has 6k miles. Yeah it's on a k plate but once built could run along time into the future Was just an idea to build a solid truck on a canny budget
17. Seen a chassis cab 811. Virtually no miles, mint condition 7.5t, anybody ran or run these. It's an auto but I'm sure it could be changed to manual. For around an on budget I could build it with hiab and good size chip box. Just a thought as still looking to change vehicles from the transit club.
18. Off topic but I'm thinking of a cabstar 56-58 plate twin wheel, Ideal around the doors but I brim my tranny 10x 5ft high chip box with upgraded springs. I just hope a cabstar will do the same . Need to exit the ford club
19. W mk6 tranny 168k. Good condition all round but must renew soon.
20. As per title. Mesaged seller for more info, pics etc. anybody here know anything about it , which member owns it. Cheers
21. I was going to sell my army 90 in my picture for more comfortable 4x4 without memory's attached. I might keep it now, I just rememberd the fun I used to have in the snow and floods

But if there's a lot of timber and you can't be arsed to shift that excess Xmas weight from your front then give me a shout to take what you don't want
