  1. says expierenced workers , so maybe thats why they are shorter course times. yeah , i noticed the bargin price
  2. just bought a 200tdi tonight for £600 - now its getting raped of all usable bits for my exarmy 2.5na 90 cant wait to drive a 'fast' landrover when conversion is done
  3. actualy just done a quick net search and thats quite a distance for me from newcastle - maybe by the time i add fuel , overnight stay and of course the most important item - bait. says £465 on the site by the way will look closer to home i think
  4. what was the date / company / location please?
  5. nooooooooo, nott ponytails , there horrid , but i do have good clean dreads - and yes , i wash them , alot
  6. any input anybody ? over 80 views
  7. No. Soil is fine. Depth wise could be better for its future growth but that's not my problem. Already customer knows. Last tree was doing great in the condition
  8. last oct i planted a lime aong with many other trees on a landscaping project - i had to replace 1 lime as it had a nasty wound behind the spiral guard which then snapped out , nursery replaced it thou , anyways , it was thriving in its conditions , unlike its replacement. in 3 weeks it has began to do what is showen in the photos , is it leaf blight ? weather conditions from very wet to sudden warm hot as it on top of a hill in exposed setting there are freash buds there , which i feel is hope as its browning / yellowing fast and sheading leaves
  9. cheers , realy want something that pulls the weight and not all the cash deep out the pocket. ive seen a 5.2t at a good price - il take a guess it weighs 2.8 - thou if it got the bed removed and alloy chip box could then carry 2T easy im getting 75 miles to £20 in the transit , but tbh , you end up putting juice in every day so makes no difference what your driving
  10. i bought a nov 2006 tw125 in jan - 2 months later the engine stopped dead , like not even any warning just jammed tight. new engine ... but now its like a new machine thats tbh i would be lost without , appart from poor paintwork which i can sort (i was in the motor trade so bonus) - so , if u can , buy new.. but even an extra £50 a month extra on a loan or fianance can be alot to a small setup like mine i looked into fianance but the payments sounded ok then the vat killed it for me , maybe if i was out 5 days per week id have gone for it but 2nd hand £100 less over same term of years - twist it round thou and the replacement engine has cost me alot hoping to pay it off in full b4 winter , so if that happens il be happy, **** happens things break
  11. thinking of getting a iveco 5T 3.0 6 speed , any body got one ? looking at mpg - also itscurrently got a tipper bed on it , any body know the average weights just looking beyound the trandsit weight restrictions . and for what id pay for a newer van , say 8-10k i could get a iveco ex lowmiles council for 5k , leaving change for my C1 liecence and alloy chip box also ive never driven one but at the mo i drive a w-reg tranny , so anythings going to be more comfortable , plus the transit got a heavy clutch which is no good for my knee problem cheers
  12. my shed , stuck in the mud - will be possibly selling soon as think il go for a bigger capacity iveco cos cant afford a new shape tranny , but need to put in for my 7.5t first - i dont know , realy cant keep running around overloaded (uprated springs keep that look unraps thou) - tipper sides drop down to reveal storage boxes full length of bed , boths sides - so less need for a double cab if i go single and do the same on next vehicle ok for a W-reg also landrover , exarmy , nice fun toy
  13. Cool thanks. Il take it all in a crack on. Shifting timber all day Sunday from home to woods. Be nice to see my driveway
  14. It's all 4inch + stuff after my arb work. I intend to make small sideline profit and see how it goes . I've been selling unseasoned from home however yard to small and this land came up. Cheap n out the way £400 a year. Good space in a 12acre woodland. Free to roam with dogs and take chip there I think cubed bags would be good but it's the lifting. I may opt for now to stack split logs then just sell by tipper level load when time arrives I had a possible deal with a garden centre however it burnt down week later. Not me honest mr policeman
  15. i like working with him , only small stuff / ground level jobs as he cant climb .... plus my mother always makes me bait and gets him to fetch it in - bonus
  16. good question as be much much easier also if i do vented bags il need a small crane / lift on tipper , another ad on to think about
  17. i pay my dad £40 to drag n chip - he retiered and needs to lose weight , when he gets rid of his gut a little il boost his wage
  18. thanks , il take a look. looking forward to somewhere to hide from the wife
  19. any1 got any picture from inside cannopy to give different views . ive done a ew reductions , mainly to trees that the owner wanted removed but i turned there thinking around - the last did was a sycamore , my wife who was groundy says i took more than 30% but i feel i didnt , but its hard to guage at my early arb stage the end product was a tree that didnt look to much like it had been touched , ok shape , down in height and sides to small as possible pruning cuts and of course , still standing unlike the roundovers i keep seeing - so if im honest , anythings better than those
  20. If ur stuck try say 'grab and deliver' with the large tipper grab trucks' they will get rid of it or drive upto my place . If u were closer I'd take it but I'm top of Durham with a transit and my local timber trailer tractor is hexham
  21. I've just acquired some space in a woodland to store cut split my firewood My question is what would be the best way to season outdoors as theres no barn or shelter. After a while I could make some shelter however not til winter Thanks
  22. cant be as bad as the first SP i bought with the cam fitted backwards from the factory. other than that its great havent done any of thses new generagtion mods thou , not yet.
  23. in the motor trade we call it a 'caramel wheel' as when its used its smells of caramel - also smae colour too
  24. excelant , i shall take a look - still need to sort stress control as defo not belts - always something to do , cheers
