  1. springs are fine honest , theres 6 leaf springs ethier side, thou i had it on its arse full of block paving once, opps. It didnt take long to cut and split , maybe i should flll a bulk bag first to get an idea of exactly how much it can hold , maybe i am going to rip myself off ? it could be holding 2 bulk bags for all i know. To be honest ive had a few time wasters . but it will sell . got about 10 trailer loads so ar as i keep loads for myself. plus a canny few large beech takedowns on a woodland im managing. most treesurgeons i know of just give it away with there chip , now thats ripping yourself off. i will measure trailer correctly and work out the metres cubed spot on for better idea
  2. ---- already got 2 fast cars in the garage , dont need a fast tank , il stick with the slow landy90 thou we get a fair few in the garage for paintwork , we have a long road outside , they are fast
  3. got tow hitch on front of landy , nato hitchs all road il have to try that out thou as have never done that , seems wierd
  4. ive said £55 - as its a mixture but have full loads of cut n split ash for £70 . thanks for the input , just easyier to get home from job , cut some more , split and straight into trailer for sale , just seasoning is a nightmare in a small space regaurds springs they are fine , ive have alot more weight in it before (blockpaving , springs=flat)

  7. Need to clear space in my yard so im going to just turn my firewood around quickly to keep home tidy . Just i little question , i have trailer loads of mixture hard/soft UNSEASONED . its a army sankey trailer , think they are 6x4 then ive added sides about 2ft. i was thinking £50 deliverd within sensible distance , tbh mates will buy them but dont want to A , be a rip of B, rip myself off mixture ash,beech,cherry,poplar,conifer .. all cut n split im happy with £50 but my lass says bla bla bla:lol: hasnt a clue sold strictly unseasoned honest opinion welcome please
  8. at least il have piece of mind when im out working soon, catching up on delayed graft... ... getting married in 2weeks too... more profit gone keep positive , not negative .
  9. just had my chipper just over 2 months and the engine has gone last week.... £1650 + vat , suplly , fit , back to work. i only work parttime as well and was plannig to take my first wage from this week after my first year unpaid, haha , you got to laugh thou otherwise you would cry..
  10. would like to say i had Dan in to finish a job for me i couldnt get finished on time due to staff issues - very happy with the result , got on with the job and didnt mess about will be getting him onboard again in the future, saved me loads of hasstle. cheers mate - richie
  11. any chippers a bonus - my tw125 broke down and is off getting fixed cutting brash in the back of truck is just no good , its like stepping back in time 1 year never mind the whips in the eye from pissy twigs when loading in the truck rear. (awaits chipper return before i do any more work)
  12. i run a double cab tranny with steel tipping chip box --- 2.7 on the bridge with tools ... im always aware of weight hence 5 trips inc trailer to shift large ash this weekend.... and if im honest maybe i was even overweight each time and it wasnt full... thou upgraded springs help the look of a stable load i once seen a builders tipper with the tow bar on the deck and the springs looking very very unhappy .....
  13. used my lasses vw lupo to remove brash and logs from a fallen dead oak job, - landrover was in garage for clutch that week - needed the cash asap , i did hoover it the day after
  14. im possibly looking for somewhere to rip out my 2.5na engine n box and replace with a good 200tdi + box .... drive in drive out , any ideas ? northeast england based

  17. ok , hiring a cs100 for a back garden chip and stay were it is job , , decent hire cost but need to go collect , question is will 2 blokes but not he-man status be able top lift it into the back of a tranny tipper , with rear gate dropped of course. would just like to check before i arrange another vehicle. cheers

  19. reet , this isnt for me but me dad , im sorting him with all my 3' / 4' branches for his log burner , part of the deal is i cant be arsed to cut them up for him. so , he needs a chainsaw , i thought an electric as it isnt going to cut heavy / thick stuff . Plus if he gets a petrol one he might get on my mams tits. Itl probly get used once or twice a month for a hour.

  21. Recreational climbing ?????? i wish - maybe when the light nights return if im lucky . Phil , theres some canny beechs between in the woodland thats runs paralell to the a1 just down from the shop. (leave the milkhope centre/turn left/t junction/turn left/bit along on the left) must belong to the blagdon estates.... just seen in passing.
  22. you pay tax on everything u buy , well almost , maybe not cakes i think, but , to get your tax back , for every pound that goes in the buisiness bank a pound goes in the pocket bank. thats what i heard anyways.
