    Surely climbing experience can only be learned by climbing? If people either at the colleges/or employers do not allow trainee climbers enough practise time how do they expect them to be competent? I realise its peoples money at stake but they need time up the tree.

    I think their crap..but thats cos i no longer have gas central heating.Only a Rayburn 355 which will do a cube of wood easily in a fortnight if not sooner! PITA Me and the wife talk constantly about keeping "Ray"(Rayburn)fed...

    Having travelled over to Normandy last few years iv seen a couple of the farmers "at it"..the best i saw he managed to slam a sizeable branch off a syc across his New Holland..wife had to tell me to stop gawking..

    Job last week off a lady whos son goes to school with my boys. Basically wanted a Silver Birch removing-even tho she had been coerced into it by 2 neighbours! Gave the Birch a prune instead and one of said neighbours appeared...proceeded to ask"isnt it coming out"?,will it still grow?"im allergic to the pollen was my favourite..all to try and bully her neighbour into removing her OWN tree!
