  3. Chin up chaps! I have a unused shed that will fit 3 possibly 4 IBCs in at a time,so as i only sell hardwood i may whack a stove in there and use softwood to keep it going??

  5. Very impressive,i have seen the Rock machinery one in action as well but i wonder how the build quality holds up to the kinetic action? At the price tho seems a no brainer.

  10. Hi Des your running the setup i used to have,we had a Rayburn 355 plus a stove in the other room:thumbup: i loved the Rayburn..wife hated it:lol: i would be investing in a log splitter certainly if you are still chopping by hand?? Ready processed will always cost more..P

  12. Few more trees need planting,some farmers are keeping their land bare for shooting and the like but with more cover it would slow the water off the hills.
  13. Im looking at the Theoben Rapid for a FAC John as they seem to be the best. Iv got an Air Arms Tx200 in .177 which is handy for more public areas. Im leaning towards a .22 rimmy i think..
  14. Happy New Year all,am now looking into applying for my firearms ticket. Are there many of you guys using .177 FAC air rifles for vermin? Had considered .17 HMR but even surpressed they still have quite a crack? Rimmy .22 im considering but the richochet chance has me thinking..

  17. I would stay well clear of Discoveries unless you are buying brand new...Vw Touareg? Not so much of a workhorse but i suspect more reliable than a Disco..
  18. I have 2 of the Petzl Pixa,very hard wearing and can be clipped onto Petzl helmets.
  19. Are most people using dowels and a drill for joining oak boards together or routers?? I realise the router will probably give a better,stronger joint..
  20. Theres a chap up in Scotland looking to 're-wild' about 30k acres if i remember.. introduction of wolves is on his to-do list but with fences put up to deter those rambler sorts..
