  1. Pedro, some folks have to start some where and asking questions and getting answers is part of the learning process. The fact that ATC1983 is willing to ask questions and take a razzing from some members and practical advise from others means he is still willing to listen and hopefully learn in the process. easy-lift guy
  2. Your price for an hourly wage is way to low. If you were here in the states you would need to get at least $25.00 per hour minimum. You can work harder or smarter. Doing all the work yourself will not earn yourself a living wage and the one commodity you will never recoup is time. Your smart enough to ask questions now be really clever and follow through. Get er done! easy-lift guy
  3. Sounds like the chain break may be engaged?, take it back to the shop since it is under warranty and ask what may be the problem?. It may be something simple and you can learn by asking at the same time! easy-lift guy
  4. Mark, thanks for that update. Our Insurance commissioner only uses their guns for the special cases, otherwise they use clubs and whips on a daily basis:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  5. Congrats to the citizens of the UK. I am happy for your country and the fact that your people can celebrate and enjoy a rich history/culture together. easy-lift guy
  6. It sounds like insurance fraud to me. Here in the states I could call the insurance commissioner and they would sort this out Pronto. In the UK there must be a a branch of government that oversees the insurance industry? easy-lift guy
  7. Happy Birthday, many Happy returns! easy-lift guy
  8. Pushing my glasses back up my nose only to realize, I have my contact lenses on! " I was not pushing my glasses up my nose, I was merly rubbing my nose", yea right. easy-lift guy
  9. Steve, I am surprised, don't you know by now everything is your fault, same trade or not, it is at my house! easy-lift guy
  10. Nice site. All the best. easy-lift guy
  11. Like spraying a liquid blanket on them suckers. burn them to the ground and even than use care handling and disposing of the remains, hope your feeling better?. easy-lift guy
  12. Sounds like your old class mates have gone SOFT, I would not go so far as to compar them to slackers but they may be on their way. easy-lift guy
  13. I read the link and the comments made about it, what a load of Compost. easy-lift guy
  14. Sorry about the news. I hope you and your neighbors family will be able to support one another at this tragic point in time. Take care, stay safe. Ted
  15. If you do end up getting the job, I to would wait a while and allow some good root pruning to take effect first. Also make sure that all air pockets are gone during the watering in process. At least over around these parts air pockets anywhere near or around the root ball is bad news. easy-lift guy
  16. Yep, I find myself doing the same thing when I see it Tony, I guess we're cursed with that dreaded condition called a conscious:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  17. It's called inflation over here Pedroski. Since the governments that continue to print more currency and do not have to work with a budget the results will be the same and worse for many other folks not even born yet. You folks won't have to wait much longer to see what awaits many countries on your side of the pond. Just look at Greeks, things are about to get really nasty for them folks. easy-lift guy
  18. Interesting thread. My Nephew just graduated from college here in the States, he has a degree in graphic arts. He has been on unemployment for at least 70 weeks. It shall be running out soon, I hope!. He clears $404.00 per week while still attending school. He has had several job interviews and I heard of one firm willing to offer him a entry level position starting pay $8.00 per hour!. Now he feels pretty sad about that since he could be making that working retail. His mom thinks the employers are holding out on him?. She believes that he should start at $25.00 per hour. I asked my sister when she started in the school system 23 years ago did she tell the school how much she was worth or did she start with what was offered and work her way up from there?. Of course that was different than and does not apply now for her son with no actual work experience, other than a recommendation from the dean at the college. Problem is most folks these days really don't have a clue how much they are worth and have been brain washed into believing their own value is so much higher than what the market will bare. Most folks I know work Two jobs and the ones that own and run their own business make incredible sacrifices from a personal and financial stand point on a daily basis. It is a pity that reality and common sense are no longer available at any level of education. I would say more but I am tired and my rant is over, for now! easy-lift guy
  19. This sounds like a pissing contest to me:sneaky2:. WADR I would never pea on my mates shirt for one thing, and actually I have never heard of such a practice before today:confused1: Science aside here in the Sunshine State we dress according to the heat and humidity and drink lots of water. Keeping ones back of the neck covered while out in the sun is very important since this area along with your wrist are heat receptors. I find that cold water run over both of these areas during a break very helpful:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  20. Thanks for the correction are either named bird a scavenger or predator or both:confused1: easy-lift guy
  21. Here In Florida, Buzzards like the Turkey buzzard are pretty much at the top of the food chain as well. Other than Crows, Ravens and Black birds, all scavengers over here for the most part the Buzzard has a monopoly on road kill removal. I have seen other birds chase Buzzards out of their specific air space, but never seen nest raided or the like. As stated earlier Buzzards are lazy and prefer to wait for their meals to be served to them. easy-lift guy
  22. Could be a fashion statement:sneaky2:, I thought she needed it for tree work:001_huh: easy-lift guy
  23. I would suggest starting a Kit replacement fund ASAP, you will continue to be plagued with problems like the one you are presently having as long as you continue to use home owner junk to earning a living:sneaky2: If you choose to be professional at least buy the proper kit and work smarter not harder:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  24. I don't understand why so many tree attract NAILS!!!. God knows I have had my share over the years with various chains and one bar wasted. Should be a law against them dang things. Feel much better. easy-lift guy
  25. It sounds like your situation could do for an ELH. Although I know of several members that own and use my product, there is One complaint, that is they wished they had purchased theirs sooner!. If you have any other questions pm me and I will be happy to answer and help any way I can. easy-lift guy
