  5. Might I suggest contacting either the ISA chapter for the state of Maryland or Virginia. You may also contact the TCIA. Either organization should be able to steer you in the right direction. easy-lift guy
  6. I suppose there is always a chance, however I have only had this happen once for myself and I know of only One other time in the UK of this occurring. The retaining spring that holds the gas pistons snug over the mounting post is meant to be flexible. I find that using a small flat screw driver works very well and a little practice easy-lift guy

  8. I would suggest the Easy-Lift Harness. Model 717-A is convertible and can be used with a line trimmer, power hedger, and an extended power pole pruner with either a hedger or saw attachment. Yes the price of the ELH is worth it since you will increase your productivity 100 to 200% per day, and for the first time ever be in control of the implement you are using. Just remember the ELH is an investment. Treat it as such and work smarter not harder. easy-lift guy

  13. Contact the management Company and tell them you will hirer a window company to replace said cracked window. Fix it and move on. I have had this happen to myself and it is just the cost of doing business. Just becuse the management company contacted you via a " very terse phone call" could mean any number of things unrelated to the matter at hand. I believe when ever possible end a business relationship on a postive note, if you can. easy-lift guy
  14. I would also suggest dressing the part. Answer when asked a question, potential employers don't like BS's to hirer. Make sure you explain your situation up front to avoid any misunderstandings for the present. easy-lift guy

  17. A point of view from the other side of the pond. At 29 and working full time with benefits you could start fresh in the Arborculture industry. Just remember your decision can be long lasting and will involve a considerable amount of time and funds and Sacrifice on your part. If your single you may have an easier go than some. If your married or thinking about becoming married in the near future make sure you discuss your future plans of employment. If this career change is what your really looking for than make your plans and at least try. Have a plan A and B in place before you make the move. easy-lift guy
