  1. In the past when trees were required to be bare root ball for certain jobs, I tried real hard to avoid these bids for all of the reasons already given. The only exception would be for B/B Citrus trees from a known supplier. Otherwise I only use container grown stock for many advantages that B/B material can never compete with. easy-lift guy
  2. I find that with certain members there is a lack of patience and understanding with certain replies and even with new members making their First or Second post only to get shot down by certain members. Some make sport of it, while still others I feel lack the confidence and knowledge to sometimes leave well enough alone and move on. I care only about treating others the way I would like to be treated in return. If folks have a problem with that philophosity than its time to stick a fork in em, there done. I find AT so much more enjoyable than other sites I am a member of that in comparison, there is none. easy-lift guy
  3. Nice video Al. Concise and to the point!. Thanks for sharing. easy-lift guy
  4. Once upon a time most anyone in this country would render First Aid while anyone else would be calling 911. Instead nowadays people will shoot video of other people obviously out of their league hoping for a disaster or near one, only to be heard "should I call 911, or should someone be calling 911". It is truly a pity to see how my fellow citizens have devolved into such mental midgets over the last 30 years:thumbdown:. Regrettably most of the American public are already to stick a fork into, they just don't know their the main course for their own last meal. easy-lift guy
  5. If he ever calls you again for wood tell him he's been replaced, O and you might want to tell him to go pound sand for good measure! easy-lift guy
  6. The guy has been in office for nearly 24 hours and he already has a rap sheet entry on ArbTalk!. I am impressed. easy-lift guy
  7. Well I am sorry about that, it was either room temp due smoke inhalation from laced stolen logs or just cut their hands off:thumbup:. In either case it may discourage others of like mind. easy-lift guy
  8. If they inhale the smoke, will they assume room temp sooner than later? I hope so:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  9. Swines!. It's a pity the wood could not be laced with something that could make the thieves really sick or worse. easy-lift guy
  10. No Doubt about the skill level needed to accomplish such a risky act, just would have liked to know the what for? easy-lift guy
  11. I guess there was a reason for scaling the block wall on an aluminum ramp?, perhaps because it was there?, maybe because he needed the practice?. easy-lift guy
  12. Wet feet, to much competition from surrounding material, at least for food. I understand sun is optional sometimes. easy-lift guy
  13. Excellent planning and execution easy-lift guy
  14. The verbal beatings will continue until further notice. She will have you trained proper in no time. Father Daughter times at that age are priceless:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  15. Believe it or not arguments are an actual form of communication. The key is to not let her or anyone else get to you by pushing your buttons. Some folks make sport of such things. Still others either out of ignorance or immaturity strike out after the ones they care about. Just happens. Put yourself above the fray and handle the causes of such arguments on an adult level:thumbup1: Not easy, no pund intended, no one ever said life was or fair:sneaky2: All part of growing up, some grow up faster than others and some never do. easy-lift guy
  16. Not sure about the legality of tree marriage?. With any relationship between a man and a woman there will be ups and downs. Finding the right partner can take a life time to discover, no guarantee. Finding someone with mutual interest and goals seems a good start. Start off with that and build upon that foundation of trust and understanding. Everyone has good and not so good days, couples are no different. Stay on the straight and narrow and make sure you let your partner know you love her and you are there for her. easy-lift guy
  17. Ford Ranger all the way. Presently my 1994 3 liter V-6 317672 miles. My daily work drive and Second owner. Complete tune up scheduled for tomorrow!. Still original engine and transmission. easy-lift guy
  18. The moral of your story is, get your chimney lined and burn only hard wood:thumbup1: easy-lift guy
  19. Over here that would pass for Australian pine. easy-lift guy
  20. Dean, was curious what your ratio of soft to hard wood burning is?. I have recommended for my customers a 3 to 1 ratio of hard to soft wood. Seems to keep the pitch build up to a minimum. Glad to hear your experience was short lived. easy-lift guy
  21. That was a good PSA For contacting emergency services. Our 911 serves the same needs here stateside. Good to know for my next trip just in case. FYI, PSA means Public Service Announcement. easy-lift guy
  22. I would use a Polecat and notch down 6' sections at a time, simple and no drama. easy-lift guy
  23. My pleasure, BTW I just call corporate and their number is 494066986292. Your contact person would be Mr. Rainer Meyer, Head of purchasing department. I left a message for him to call me back and maybe you can try as well, you may get your parts yet:thumbup1:
