  1. Buy a case to protect you investment, don't go cheap on the case either. easy-lift guy
  2. Simple and to the point. As I have stated before when the takers out number the makers soon enough all supply and demand economies will come full stop. I believe based on the video that time has come for many countries. The act of a few EU leaders to allow the most recent influx of people from North Africa to enter fellow neighboring member states is just one more shining example of utter stupidity and destruction of indigitious people presently residing there. My cousin in Poland is scared to death because of her governments actions on allowing the new wave of people into her country. Sadly this the price the makers have to pay in order for the takers to remain in power. How long social welfare systems can continue to support this invasion remains to be seen. easy-lift guy
  3. Thanks for sharing. I hope you had a great 2015! easy-lift guy
  4. Interesting strategy. Get various opinions from fellow members and possible encourage the person who owes you £££ for wages to pay up. I hope you get your pay. easy-lift guy
  5. Egg, there is a lot to be said for being back of the times. I allow for my amusement as many owners of new tech to play the part of ginney pigs so as many if not all of the bugs are out and resolved before I spend a cent. All I am missing is the drama associated with new roll outs of tech always plagued by numerous problems. I have better things to do than to keep up with the minions. easy-lift guy
  6. Yes, No problems. It seems that the problems over here are with older phones, who would have ever seen that one coming! easy-lift guy
  7. Kevin, Does the UK Government have term limits for the elected members or are they all lifers and go through the motions of elections?. Term Limits are surely needed here in this country, especially at the national level:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  8. It's a pity that common sense does not exist any more on either side of the Atlantic:thumbdown:. Kicking the can down the road for future generations to deal with or kick down the road further is a formula for disaster every time. easy-lift guy
  9. Pat Ferrett sent me a wonderful short video of 3 formations of Spitfires, Hurricanes in formation from the same event. So very nice to see!. easy-lift guy
  10. My girlfriend will not take her car to a Ford dealership again. I have caught the mechanic Twice attempting to recommend repairs that were unnecessary. Sadly here as well women are taken advantage of more frequently. Zero tolerance from me, especially if I find out before the work is done. easy-lift guy
  11. Since all polls are rigged to shape and or influence the results of any given situation or event I believe if the existing list of Presidential hopefuls don't pull their heads out of their backsides soon and stop reacting to personel insults and remarks by the Donald he may very well become the next nominee for President of the USA. For now he continues to push the buttons of most of the voting public, however people will grow tired of this approach in time:thumbdown: The Donald may very well think he can ride out this nomination process and become the candidate for the Republican Party. I find his actions with the media humorous, especially since he really does not need to play ball with them. Donald can and will continue to alienate him self from the media and the rest of the field since seemingly so far no other candidate is willing to discuss the issues in the matter and format of his choosing. Out of 16 candidates left on the republican side only 3 are not considered career politicians. Of the 13 left the money and time will run out soon enough. Personally I do not want the carpet bagger and family living at 1600 Pennsilvania Ave. ever again. I also do not want the communist from Vermont who is now the medias favorite one a be Jack Ass there as well. The Jack Ass party will be giving him the deep six in due time. One communist for the last Two terms has been more than enough damage to this country:thumbdown: Too early to tell who I will support going forward, will just have to wait and see when and if the other actors can or will stop and act on behalf of the majority of the voting population and is willing to defend and protect the U.S. constitution. As long as the Donald continues to remain as he is deals will have to be made for cabinet positions left and or lobbyist jobs until the next election cycle. easy-lift guy
  12. Thanks Richard1234, that makes sense. easy-lift guy
  13. Hmm, so was he appointed or elected?. Would his party force him out with a vote of no confidence or does your government have impeachment proceedings for removing officials from office? easy-lift guy
  14. Interesting thread. How long will this Corbyns term of office last? easy-lift guy
  15. As long as you get to that right of way area first you will be safe in your white van, I think? easy-lift guy
  16. Your missing my point. Of course any one would have gotten out of the way if they had seen or heard either a police car or ambulance. If another car was trying to get around either car and was left wondering who would move first now more people are involved. I have seen this before and accidents occure because of confrontations between Two drivers or even passengers. It's just not worth it in the larger scheme of things, at least not here in the states. Take care. Ted
  17. I understand your point of view. I am sure you believe you had the right of way and sitting your ground and making the other driver back up may have been the correct response, however how would you have handled an ambulance or police car attempting to respond to a call while a road way was blocked? Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. I am not sure who would have blinked first if either emergency situation had arisen only pointing out an obvious road hazard when someone has to either save face or do the right thing. easy-lift guy
  18. Although I have mentioned this in the past the shear number of new students enrolling and entering the market place must have some role in the future of the the Arborculture industry in the UK?. Until this supply starts to dwindle I expect lower prices and less quality work from new start up's in this industry. Established firms will continue to have their hands full while maintaing a customer base and still trying to earn a living. easy-lift guy
  19. Glad to hear your on the mend, was there and infection associated with the removal?, if so make sure you keep up with your Rx until all used up. easy-lift guy
  20. A few years ago I created a thread about means and methods to protect your kit. This thread was UK oriented so all of my sources were home grown for fellow members of AT. That said had something similar had occurred at my wear house and I was present I suspect that the word restraint would not have had much meaning for the perp. I geneunly believe that by the time I got done with the punk, he would be feeling very unlucky and still wondering if it was all worth it. So many things to trip over and such poor lighting!, I wonder if I will ever get someone to fix either one?, not! easy-lift guy
  21. Jon, What ever it takes to get the tooth sorted, don't put off and don't skimp on the cost. If the tooth is as painful as it reads I hope for your sake it has not abscessed. A good friend allowed his oral hygiene to laps between regular check up and his abscessed tooth created an infection that traveled up the side of his upper jaw and settled in an artery for his eye. It was less than a week later and my friend is now blind in that eye due to the infection. Remember Jon, if you don't have your health you really have nothing in life since nothing else actually matters. easy-lift guy
  22. I believe your exercising sound judgement. Buying into an existing business is always filled with many challenges both known and unknown. Better to grow slow and deliberate with a business plan you can work with on your own terms. Keep the emotional capital spent to a minimum since this can have a very draining affect upon you and the business. easy-lift guy
  23. Although your desire or need to not want to see someone else's business go to waste is admirable, it's not based in reality. Unless your willing to sit down and create a business plan based on an actual valuation of this potential venture I would steer clear until you have actual facts and figures to work with. easy-lift guy
  24. I saw one of those models at Tescos last time over. Seems some folks were moving groceries around the parking lot with theirs. easy-lift guy
