  1. Yes I have and in the city Buildings and cars and people out number trees about 10,000 to one. Like I said central park has more trees surrounded by buildings than any wear else, if your out side the five burrows you will encounter lots of trees, not so much in the city proper. easy-lift guy

  3. ursorox, FYI you won't find to many trees in NYC proper unless you go into Central park, and even than I think you will find a little bit of resistance from them city park folks. Enjoy your stay in the USA. easy-lift guy
  4. And than all at once for no apparent reason the system will collapse and the technocrats will wonder went wrong and than anyone in charge that's left will call out for an investigation and next time there will be twice a much paper work! It is a shame there is so much repetition and duplication for the sake of so many folks that would have a life otherwise for the sake of having a Job?. easy-lift guy
  5. Regrettably, the insurance companies have nearly all of us by the short hairs. Going on your parents insurance may be your only viable option ATM, I know that was what I had to do and when I turned 21 I was on my own. Still cost more due to my age/gender but that was due to the odds against the house ie. the insurance company. The house does not like to loose any bets, hence the premium is so much higher. easy-lift guy
  6. I believe you will have to wait a bit longer your age group and gender are working against you ATM. easy-lift guy.

  17. PeteB you said a mouth full, at 52 I can and still do out work most folks 1/2 my age. I lost 30 pounds just over a year ago and I am not going back to being compared to the Dunlop Tyre salesman while demonstrating my product. Unless you have a life or death illness to deal with in this line of work your life is what you make of it. easy-lift guy
  18. Great Job Rik!, No rest for the weary, more trees to harvest! easy-lift guy

  21. I had a great day yesterday celbrating Thanksgiving with family and friends and the weather has been finally cooler for a change, Smaller portions today since Turkey meals were very large and delicious!. Looking forward to a nice weekend. easy-lift guy
  22. If it was determined that the removal of the tree would promote and insure public safety/health than the tree should have been removed. Otherwise the tree should have stayed and the protestors should have been allowed to continue to camp under it untill a large limb broke off and crushed said protestors. Now that would have been worth setting up a live feed. easy-lift guy
  23. I believe ebay and the like is in the business of bring sellers and buyers together to buy/sell their stuff. If they started to allow these same people to advertise their new business the same way with their new stuff purchased is it ebay's responsibility to pick and choose?. There will always be a percentage of folk that buy things with out any knowledge or concern about how it works or how to use correctly. Two solutions come to mind. First ebay could stop taking ads for the sale of such equipment altogether, this would help dissuade the Black market from using a legal means of fencing stolen property. The Second would be when Manufacturers require owners of New equipment to take a safety/proper use course. This course would have to be administered at the point of sale and equipment could not leave said point until course had been passed buy new owner. TBH I would like to see both but the Second choice would be a good start, if the manufacturers had enough guts to implement the policy industry wide. easy-lift guy
  24. Treecreeper1961 perhaps you may want to take a look at this link http://webcommunities.hse.gov.uk/con.t=s&search I believe the folks with HSE have completed a few risk assessments in their day, know what I mean? easy-lift guy
