  1. Based on any number of other reports I have read posted on this topic, NO:sneaky2: easy-lift guy ps. Over here it is a matter of probable cause. Don't think the cops would have done anything on the clock, but at least over here the good cops are on duty 24/7 365.
  2. Fantastic news. Go's to show that a few ounces of prevention was well worth Hundreds of pounds of cure. As far as punishment is concerned I am with other members for the removal of body parts starting with the head. easy-lift guy
  3. Here in the States as well, Cost of doing business, for sure. easy-lift guy
  4. Renault Pirate, that is a good one!, I do hope you get your engine work sorted out in the end? easy-lift guy
  5. IMO, The legal owner of any property should be the only party to deal with period, anyone else having a hand in the matter is just going to be more problems later. based on the terms stated earlier you have done enough to cover your back side and more than most. Like suggested earlier a trust your gut and decide which course of action to follow after a chat with the rightful owner of the property. easy-lift guy
  6. With any used car or truck I always take the vehicle to my mechanic. I also make sure that my mechanic is not to chummy with the dealership the vehicle came from. If it came from a private owner same thing. Honda's over here when well maintained last for 100'000 plus Miles and still going strong. Normal maintenance is the key. Also we have a service called Car Fax over here and it can provide for a small charge the history of the car for inspection. easy-lift guy
  7. Just wondering if you have noticed any "weed seed" germination from the use of horse poo with your potting mix?. easy-lift guy
  8. That suggestion seems a little harsh, or maybe the way it was suggested:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  9. Understood, how about a loading dock of sorts to load the pallet and jack on at the same time, drop the trailer gate and load pallet on to trailer?, something to consider.

    Cheers

    Ted

  10. Dear Natalie, I believe in working smarter not harder, more than a slogan for me. Anyway I believe a Pallet Jack to be the fastest and most cost affective means of moving your bagged material. Cost for a Good Pallet Jack here stateside about $175.00 or about 100 to 120 Pounds. I like my work easy, and many other suggestions seem very costly and drama oriented.

Hope your having a nice weekend.

    Cheers

    Ted

  11. I would shrink wrap the bags on one standard pallet and load onto the trailer with a pallet jack. I did this for years with my 32' trailer and could deliver up to 5 cords at a time. easy-lift guy
  12. The lack of quality in hand tools is an issue here as well. Were the tools made in country or imported from mainland China?. I believe you were very unlucky or you could take the serial numbers off of the tools if there are any and play the lotto. Your luck or record may change for the better. easy-lift guy
  13. I believe this link will provide an thumb nail of the bills in question. Key Facts about U.S. Online Piracy Bills SOPA and PIPA - International Business Times. Hope this helps. In my opinion the biggest critics of these bills ATM would be the abusers of the IP rights of others. I welcome additional feelings and concerns as well. easy-lift guy
  14. Interesting comment, Do you have a mirrior? and have you asked yourself that same question last time you took a look hard or otherwise at yourself? easy-lift guy
  15. I have made one comment on this matter and since it continues to generate intrest ATM, I will try and research this matter further and provide an American perspective soon. easy-lift guy
  16. Greetings, your welcome.

    All the best

  17. Stereo, My HS Biology teacher use to comment about some folks having the brains of a dead plant!, gutted, get another job and pay for your kit and move on. You will be able to do this and be far wiser in the future. easy-lift guy
  18. She must be tough, with a smile on her face and a broken limb to boot! easy-lift guy
  19. Well put, pithy enough for me! easy-lift guy
  20. Mark, I concur with with Gareth. One thing missing would be setting up a budget for your advertising campaign. Set realistic goals with what your trying to accomplish and slowly build from there. Keep track of how your customers find out about your company and build from there. Only increase your advertising budget if the receipts can support an increase. easy-lift guy
  21. Greetings, May I suggest reading my thread entitled Means and methods of protecting your kit from theft. I would post this but because it is s public forum, I have decided not to in the future. I hope the information helps.

    All the best

    Ted

  22. Nice job!, you Sir are a man of many talents. easy-lift guy
  23. My main but somewhat expensive passion is trigger time @ the range. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3eKd9FP9uE&list=UUPMwGRNP5R-PK44oQnkYV0A&index=2&feature=plcp]My friend ted - YouTube[/ame] easy-lift guy:thumbup1:
  24. Hamadryad, your suggestion is spot on. Only additional suggestions would be for the personnel department to update all medical history of current hires at least on a monthly basis. and at once with all new hires. Second would be that all First Aid kits should include Epipen IM shots for bee and insect stings. After reading a thread Two weeks ago by a fellow member who was stung by something and had a reaction to the poison from the bite of something? This reaction to a simple sting or bite can but be but not always be the difference between life or death. easy-lift guy
