  1. Understood, how about a loading dock of sorts to load the pallet and jack on at the same time, drop the trailer gate and load pallet on to trailer?, something to consider.

    Cheers

    Ted

  2. Dear Natalie, I believe in working smarter not harder, more than a slogan for me. Anyway I believe a Pallet Jack to be the fastest and most cost affective means of moving your bagged material. Cost for a Good Pallet Jack here stateside about $175.00 or about 100 to 120 Pounds. I like my work easy, and many other suggestions seem very costly and drama oriented.

Hope your having a nice weekend.

    Cheers

    Ted

  3. I would shrink wrap the bags on one standard pallet and load onto the trailer with a pallet jack. I did this for years with my 32' trailer and could deliver up to 5 cords at a time. easy-lift guy
  4. The lack of quality in hand tools is an issue here as well. Were the tools made in country or imported from mainland China?. I believe you were very unlucky or you could take the serial numbers off of the tools if there are any and play the lotto. Your luck or record may change for the better. easy-lift guy
  5. Something like that. easy-lift guy
  6. I believe this link will provide an thumb nail of the bills in question. Key Facts about U.S. Online Piracy Bills SOPA and PIPA - International Business Times. Hope this helps. In my opinion the biggest critics of these bills ATM would be the abusers of the IP rights of others. I welcome additional feelings and concerns as well. easy-lift guy
  7. Interesting comment, Do you have a mirrior? and have you asked yourself that same question last time you took a look hard or otherwise at yourself? easy-lift guy
  8. I have made one comment on this matter and since it continues to generate intrest ATM, I will try and research this matter further and provide an American perspective soon. easy-lift guy
  9. Greetings, your welcome.

    All the best

    Ted

  10. Stereo, My HS Biology teacher use to comment about some folks having the brains of a dead plant!, gutted, get another job and pay for your kit and move on. You will be able to do this and be far wiser in the future. easy-lift guy
  11. Well put, pithy enough for me! easy-lift guy
  12. Mark, I concur with with Gareth. One thing missing would be setting up a budget for your advertising campaign. Set realistic goals with what your trying to accomplish and slowly build from there. Keep track of how your customers find out about your company and build from there. Only increase your advertising budget if the receipts can support an increase. easy-lift guy
  13. Greetings, May I suggest reading my thread entitled Means and methods of protecting your kit from theft. I would post this but because it is s public forum, I have decided not to in the future. I hope the information helps.

    All the best

    Ted

  14. Nice job!, you Sir are a man of many talents. easy-lift guy

  16. Hamadryad, your suggestion is spot on. Only additional suggestions would be for the personnel department to update all medical history of current hires at least on a monthly basis. and at once with all new hires. Second would be that all First Aid kits should include Epipen IM shots for bee and insect stings. After reading a thread Two weeks ago by a fellow member who was stung by something and had a reaction to the poison from the bite of something? This reaction to a simple sting or bite can but be but not always be the difference between life or death. easy-lift guy
  17. The maneuver it's self is not hard, making it look easy is the trick. I bet he had done it a 1000 times same results. Looks like he had a modified goose neck hitch on the back of the truck as well. easy-lift guy
  18. And to think some folks would actually pay for advice like this:001_rolleyes: What a bargain!, only from ArbTalk members, slightly shaken, never stirred. easy-lift guy
  19. The name alibaba, say's it all to me! easy-lift guy
  20. Pretty petty and stupid. Doing things like this only make working on trees in the future more dangerous while at the same time I believe this person should be put on notice that he would be liable in the future for foolish actions in the present. easy-lift guy
  21. Also bring an additional change of clothes that can double as work clothes if need be and leave your phone in your car or truck. if there is an emergency anyone can contact the company your working for, otherwise get use to working without. You will be better for it. easy-lift guy
  22. I wish you a speedy recovery and the best advise post oppertive would be Keep up with your Phisical Therapy as if your live or at least your lively hood depended upon it. It really can make a big difference with recovery time. Have a great and restfull weekend easy-lift guy
  23. That's great, Now if Stihl or Husky will do the same for all saws sold that would make even a bigger difference. easy-lift guy
  24. I would suggest send by your local mail service. I have shipped Two of my Easy-Lift Harnesses to Australia with in the last month and each cost just over $100.00, that was thru the USPS. I would only use Fed-Ex or UPS or DHL as a last resort since there prices have always been far more expensive. easy-lift guy
  25. I can see Short Stack running across that one for sure. easy-lift guy
