Based on any number of other reports I have read posted on this topic, NO:sneaky2: easy-lift guy ps. Over here it is a matter of probable cause. Don't think the cops would have done anything on the clock, but at least over here the good cops are on duty 24/7 365.

IMO, The legal owner of any property should be the only party to deal with period, anyone else having a hand in the matter is just going to be more problems later. based on the terms stated earlier you have done enough to cover your back side and more than most. Like suggested earlier a trust your gut and decide which course of action to follow after a chat with the rightful owner of the property. easy-lift guy

With any used car or truck I always take the vehicle to my mechanic. I also make sure that my mechanic is not to chummy with the dealership the vehicle came from. If it came from a private owner same thing. Honda's over here when well maintained last for 100'000 plus Miles and still going strong. Normal maintenance is the key. Also we have a service called Car Fax over here and it can provide for a small charge the history of the car for inspection. easy-lift guy

Understood, how about a loading dock of sorts to load the pallet and jack on at the same time, drop the trailer gate and load pallet on to trailer?, something to consider.

Dear Natalie, I believe in working smarter not harder, more than a slogan for me. Anyway I believe a Pallet Jack to be the fastest and most cost affective means of moving your bagged material. Cost for a Good Pallet Jack here stateside about $175.00 or about 100 to 120 Pounds. I like my work easy, and many other suggestions seem very costly and drama oriented.

I would shrink wrap the bags on one standard pallet and load onto the trailer with a pallet jack. I did this for years with my 32' trailer and could deliver up to 5 cords at a time. easy-lift guy -
The lack of quality in hand tools is an issue here as well. Were the tools made in country or imported from mainland China?. I believe you were very unlucky or you could take the serial numbers off of the tools if there are any and play the lotto. Your luck or record may change for the better. easy-lift guy

Mark, I concur with with Gareth. One thing missing would be setting up a budget for your advertising campaign. Set realistic goals with what your trying to accomplish and slowly build from there. Keep track of how your customers find out about your company and build from there. Only increase your advertising budget if the receipts can support an increase. easy-lift guy

Hamadryad, your suggestion is spot on. Only additional suggestions would be for the personnel department to update all medical history of current hires at least on a monthly basis. and at once with all new hires. Second would be that all First Aid kits should include Epipen IM shots for bee and insect stings. After reading a thread Two weeks ago by a fellow member who was stung by something and had a reaction to the poison from the bite of something? This reaction to a simple sting or bite can but be but not always be the difference between life or death. easy-lift guy
