  1. Dont think this will be as easy as every one says ? but i could be wrong, no NI payments for 10 yrs, no record of a fixed address, not on any polling register, first thing there going to ask is where have you been ? when did you get back ? was you earning where ever you where ? i think all this will be very hard to explain and get a way with, as most if not all government departments are all linked together and in this day and age it will not take long to find out, and if he said he had been over seas they could ask the same questions else where ! if he said he flew in, sailed in or came on train through the tunnel his name will be allocated to a seat or some thing, i think this needs some very careful thought and may be some sound addvise from some one who knows and deals with issues like this, i think one big can of worms and one massive headache, and if he is not careful a estimated tax bill could be dropping through the letter box, one small step at a time with this and plenty of thought, Good luck,
  2. That will more than likely be rotten/hollow it dont look a big tree ! but it looks in bad shape!! there probably just cankers, we did one in late oct and i was going to ring you but tree was not worth the effort to even try and move so it stayed where it fell,
  3. Sometimes you have to addmitt defeat ! i know where you are with this as i am working on a solution for the exact same thing myself at the moment, its not easy and its not cheap to work out which is the easy or even a reasonable solution to this problem, but unfortunatly some stems will have to be ringed up as it would be just so un economic to try and remove, i have had nightmares about some timber that i have seen ringed up for firewood over the years and it has been some top notch stuff, if tour thinking of moving a 8.8 tonne stem you must have means to transport as 8.8 tonne is a big stick, We cant save every thing and we have to let some go, watched a video on youtube a couple of wk ago where a bloke was putting pippy oak stems in to a big chipper, and filling arctics up with chip, stems probably 20-30", thats a criminal offence in my book,,
  4. Thats not social distancing !!! Borris will have you,
  5. at least theres fuck all on the roads so you can have a good look, you will be getting the steering wheel snag,ed on something ! be careful, !!
  6. Reminds me of Ali G that fit ,fit, fit, No you go back,
  7. Hi Mine was up for renewal on 17th march with Treesurgeon insurance, now taking in to consideration we dont do arb work, ours is with in commercial forestry so the sites we work are in the middle of no where, they increased there handling charge from £50 to £125 this year and that was in the small print hardly any one can see, then put about £60 on the price which took total cost up to just shy of £500, when i first went with then 5 yr ago cover was £192 for our work so its a big increase really, then on the last day of cover i got 3 emails and 3 Texts with YOU MUST PAY NOW in the text ,which i take offence to as its trying to pressure you in to paying !!
  8. They all have a year or 2 left in em yet, and given 2 years with them 3 i would probably be the first in a old folks home, but what a way to get there,,,,
  9. Many a good tune played on a old fiddle you know, and your first choice Andy would be no good to me, i could,nt carry her,!!!!
  10. Croc of ??? it will be the best thing since sliced bread for a day, then you will need parts and where do you get them from, it will be just like i was when i was 16/17 a 2 minuet wounder !!!!
  11. Its not quite all the way away from Covid-19, but who would you like to end up with on a tropical island for the rest of your day,s, it can be male or female and it dont matter if your on the other bus as i think we can all accept that in 2020, 3 choices on this with your most desired being at the number one spot, could be interesting with the different age groups on here and a bit of light hearted banter to cushion the blow some of us are expierancing,!!! 1, Sheryl Crow 2, Kylie Minouge 3, Amanda Holden
  12. Hi i have had several flyers through my letterbox of late, not many last week but week before 4 or 5 a day all from local small firms and i have just picked em up with a litter picker and put straight in the wheelie bin, and if and when we get through Covid-19 and we get the go ahead we will all be knee deep in flyers through the letter box every day,
  13. Shaba,, Shaba,,, Ravon ,,
  14. Your well on your way there its even the right colour, chevrons on back doors and its even got a flashing light on the top, you will be changing your name to Ravon next and doing mobile discos,,,, Shabba,,,,
  15. You want to get on to doing council contracts you ! but you might have to go VAT registered ?
  16. Hi Sitka spruce and it should not be a problem at all at the moment, they seem to stand well on there own like that and as J said should be ok for next decade at least and dont all trees sway in the wind !, Then as Matty says that Ash is a much bigger issue, in my eyes the Ash has die back and when they get this the timber becomes very very brittle, its your neighbours tree that is more of a issue, ask them to get a report on there Ash and split the cost between you,
  17. You asking for a friend ???????
  18. the Stoke on trent ref came out of a episode of Only fools and horses, where Del ended up i hospital and he thought he had contracted HIV (aides) and he was telling Rodders about his trip to the barbers and this mush called Jason had cut his hair and Dell reckoned thats where he had caught it as them types are all a bit Stoke on Trent, in short Cockney for being bent, Watch em either on uk gold or you tube best comedy thats ever been on British TV,
  19. We will have to wait,to see what happens but its not going to be a fairytale ending thats for sure,
  20. Covid-19 aint finished yet NOT one person on this planet can say what is to happen and i think as a island we may have a better success rate of beating this crisis than mainland continents !, this is just my thoughts, the only thing i can be sure about is it will all have to be paid for by us as tax payers and as Kriss said in a post above, taxation changes, but one thing the Government will need to do is raise funds fast and i will bet a substantial amount of money that there will be a speed camera around every other corner when we are through this lot,
  21. Not going to disagree with any of that, as thats my thoughts as well, and i think if we all pull together as a nation when all this shit is over i for one hope and i do live in hope on this is that the UK can bounce back from this and we can be a stronger nation than before and we can jump back up the worlds top performance list from No5 to may be 2 or 3 but No1 would be even better, after all we led the world for decades in production and design, may be again, BUT Covid-19 is not over yet and no one can say when, who knows this may be the end and we will be back at the begining with Adam & Eave ? and if Adam turns out to be from Stoke on Trent thats the END
  22. we all need a plan that works, but its just sorting it all out so it does work and it cant be done in an hour or so,,
  23. Not really spring like but this was the 1st may 2016, we where sorting some windblown sycamore out, t shirts at 10am then wind swung round to the north and got up temps plumbeted then it started snowing it got about 3" down so we left while we could still get out, never got back untill 5 days later,
  24. If this virus continues, and there is not one person on this planet who can tell us when its going to stop ! i a long with you and many 1000s of other people wont have a business to run during this crisis but when its all done and dusted and we get back to some sort of normallety we just pick up where we left off, personally i am thinking long term on this issue at the moment(worst case synario) and not taking a lot of notice of what Borris is saying like, we can stop this in 3-4 wk, then its gone to 3 months He dont know, i dont know and you dont know how long its going to last, help is there just take it, its for all of us who want it, for me i am bottom of the list, for people with dependants they are much higher on the list, a contract climber i know whos main work is councils etc is totally out of work now, lad in his late 20s married with 2 kids, he has had to take what was on offer and as he said its far better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick,
