  1. Don't know if its been mentioned by I would not put a chipper on front of a U1200 for multiple reasons. Do plenty of research on all of it, then do more research or you'll get a very very expensive mistake that you can't sell easily. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  2. Don't all jump at once guys, although he's working with us on Wednesday and Thursday so wait in line! 😜 Saron is a very productive asset for any small or large firm and he has the ability to fit in with a team and not rock the boat. I think he's also got his pricing just right because i know two other freelancers who charge more but are always struggling for work. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  3. Aha, that looks good and simple. Is there an optimum length for the strop I wonder? I'll set this up today and try it next week. As an aside, yesterday we worked on a row of 9 trees. I used the RopeKnight with BigShot and used 10 shots total. I know from experience that it would have been around 13 shots with the Highball and more with the standard throw bag. The missed shot hit a branch (because I didn't hold the BigShot steady) and the bounce was no worse than that with a regular bag and a great deal less than the Highball. Brilliant.
  4. Craigblues, you won't stop breathing if you don't have one but your life will be easier with less frustration and time wasted. That's a fact.
  5. Same as what Andy Collins just said but no to kettle type thingies. But that's only because customer brings out tea 9/10 times. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  6. My idiocy at throwing by hand is unchallenged so I thought if attempt a throw with the RK. I threw it at a Willow and hey-presto, it went where I aimed it. I suspected a fluke so threw about a dozen times and each one was bang on. I struggled to achieve much height but that was from lack of confidence. I could fool myself and say all sorts but it just seems that the weight and dynamics somehow suit my technique. I don't know of this Long gun so I'll look it up. Any tips anyone? 7. "Don't worry love, everyone uses Baby Oil to help the harness slip on" I can see it now! 😂 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  8. Who's been using a RopeKnight for hand throwing? I've only used my BigShot so just wondered about giving it a go and what the tips are. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  9. Me too Pete. The sight if that makes me twitch! 😳 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  10. Oh, just remembered another good thing. The buttons on the hopper aren't buttons but sensors so they are super easy to use even if you're wearing gauntlets for handling blackthorn. Apparently they are the same buttons that are used on trains which means they're tried, tested and durable. They've been an option with Jensen for years but this is the first time they come as standard. The emergency stop bar is better mounted too so it won't bend like every other Jensen bar in history. BIG improvement. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

  15. God I loved my Bigtrak and Tin Can Alley. They relaunched Bigtrak recently buy my mate who bought one said it's not as good. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  16. I have not read the thread but what is in the bum bag (fanny pack!)? Also, was the little axe for snedding stubs off on the way up?
  17. I didn't like that last corner pass. It reminded of Rossi & Gibernau on the same corner but they used to do that for 25 laps and all season, so it was acceptable. I think Marquez realised he couldn't get past Lorenzo in a gentlemanly fashion so resorted to playground tactics. A bit of shouldering is fine in the heat of battle but that was just pure desperation. Not good. 👎 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  18. Lets all be grateful Dean hasn't attached photos of the rip (when his plums were hanging out!) 😱 Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

  20. I've got a Stein Dual bollard which lifts very well and if you need more lifting power, get the stein pulley. If you do lots of this style of rigging get a GRCS. Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  21. I just picked up this Milwaukee concrete breaker. No good for cutting trees or making sandwiches but could be useful for breaking me out the dog house, next time I'm sent in it! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
  22. Then drink heavily from 7pm to 9:30pm. I bet that'll produce a result. I got wrecked last night and slept one hour more than usual. Feel like hell now though and wish I was dead! Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!
