  2. It's happens from time to time on pairs, unfortunately I'm going back in Wales Friday/Saturday so I won't be able to make it. Post your scores up when you get a chance. Who's the hotshot out of you guys ?
  3. I had a 100 bird round at JJ's today. I've never been there before and i was impressed with the layout. Shot an 80, I was happy with that.

  6. Went out for Christmas dinner for the first time ever this year. It was very nice but I've got to say it just wasn't the same, doubt if I'll do it again to be honest.
  7. Finish tomorrow and then back on the 2nd. Always used to work between Christmas and new year but its a nice time to be at home with the kids and you don't get them days again !

  13. I've brought 2 husky 372xp's from FR jones over the last few years. Cheapest by far with good service. Highly recommended.
  14. Heavy rain and strong winds up until about 5ish. Some of the worst conditions I have every worked in today. Amazing amount of water on the roads on the way home tonight.
  15. Hi all, I've seen in the press over the last few days that the so called experts are saying we could be in for the worst winter in 100 years ! I know that these sort of stories are around every year but today an old boy told me that this years wet weather is very similar to the summer of 1946 and the winter that followed that was one of the worst in living memory. Could history repeat itself ?
  16. Hi David, I'm slightly further west than Brecon but you could try smerdons, they do mainly power line work I think. There are a couple of AA approved guys over that way now. Look at the AA website for their details. Any question feel free to pm me. Rob.
  17. Is there any exemptions from a o license with a 7.5 ton mewp ? it's ok to run it on red diesel but I wondered if it would need a o license ?
  18. Hi Jamie, I scanned these from the AA mag a few weeks back and put them up in our workshop, the feedback was very good and to be honest anything like this is a step in the right direction. The AWG is a good idea, keep up the good work !
