  3. You going slack ? With me being this chainsaw guru that apparently I am I might make the trip for a nose around.
  4. Your right about the constant phone calls, I know a few boys that got so pee'ed off with the guy ringing them every other week they buy elsewhere.
  5. I thought only yuppies and drug dealers had them early phones !
  6. I used to based just up the road from there by reedham station. I knew they had knocked the ambulance station down years ago but I didn't know the fire station had gone as well. Nice work by the way, keep up the good work.

  9. Hi all, A newbie I worked with yesterday is going to do his cs30/31 shortly and asked me about what depth gauge should he buy for the course. We looked online and there was only one size available. I done my basic chainsaw training nearly 20 years ago and I was sure there was different gauges for the different chains we used. I never use one now and like the title says I was slightly embarrassed that I didn't have the answer for him. Is there different depth gauges to match the different chains commonly used (.325,3/8,.404) or is it one size fits all ?
  10. No problem Paul. Credit where there's credit due, I enjoyed the day. Good numbers, 45-50 I'd say.
  11. Went to the Carmarthen gig of the tour today. Guy and Ben put on a good day. If anyone has been thinking about going to one of these I'd highly recommend it.
  12. Truly, I would think Bill Kelsey at the farm shop on north cray road would be interested or know someone that is. Pop in and ask him or give him a ring 0208 300 2103.
  13. I wouldn't bother buying the fancy eye to eye lengths of cord either, normal bog standard hitch cord tied up to a suitable length again works fine for me.
  14. I've used both and i don't think there's any difference.
  15. Tried a few different set ups but found the knut works best for me.

  21. They make brash balers for use in forest situations, I see them in the woods round here. Then they are taken to the power stations in South Wales. They produce a bale about 8'long and about 1m in diameter. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. As above. Yes, if they were standing there and you said 'watch me back' they should of been watching you back but at the end of the day YOU were the driver. What YOU done shouldn't effect if they get paid for the day or not. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  25. I said about this press up challenge to a guy I work with sometimes. I know he is a bit of a fitness nut and he tried it there and then and got to 15.2. Spoke to him the other day and he said he is up to something like 22 - 23. Not sure I believe him but if it is true my god he is doing well ! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
