  1. I have had 4 land rovers, 2 bobtail range rovers countless jap trucks and the one that takes the biscuit for me is my little Suzuki Sj410 bought for £150 4 years ago, its never cost much to mot, its cheap tax and classic insurance and will go places most wont for many reasons its narrow width and light weight being just 2
  2. Some are better than others but the beat boxing chipmonks could win X factor paws down lol [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7798h1siNO8&feature=endscreen&NR=1]Funny Animal Voiceovers - YouTube[/ame]
  3. I did use an angle grinder with a sanding disc and a few chisels for details like the eyes.
  4. Well! My right arm is twice the size it should be from using an 020 one handed. My left arm is twice the length from cutting and chucking, I walk with a limp from years climbing on spikes. Im bent double until at least 11am with a bad back. On the plus side I have been offered the role of Quasimodo in the new film The Bells Of Notredame
  5. Thanks for all the positive comments Im starting to enjoy the projects even in the early stages when its tempting to throw them back on the wood pile and hope nobody see's. Managed to purchase a few sets of English carving chisels and a Tormek grinder so hopefully a few steps in the right direction. The next project is going to be a Bull dog unless work picks up
  6. Ha! Just watched the link and my other half walked in, heard the woman and thought I was watching porn
  7. I think you will find that wood chip only robs nitrogen if you dig it in.
  8. Its good stuff IMO stops them getting mites that you find in straw
  9. Not at all strange to me! thats some real clever cleaving and only your second project aswell .
  10. Takes me back to the days when I couldnt afford to pay for repairs lol My old man used to say rub a lead pencil across the points and on the plug contact to aid a weak spark All in the good old days

  13. Well modded Mr Collins
  14. I doubt the thread will stay on here very long because of the title Just flush the tank out a few times and it should be fine, no need to rinse the carb or fuel lines unless you have run the saw. Had it happen a few times over the years and only ever rinsed the tank out.
  15. I cant view the pics old chap
  16. That was a good heads up Jamie
  17. Most trees bring me out in a cold sweat The shrub that I hate working with is Viburnum it gives me a killer sore throat.
  18. Just saw this on Ebay Rob, it to is a nice design but makes me think your selling yours to cheap SOLID OAK PICNIC TABLE AND BENCHES | eBay
  19. Good skills boys
  20. Nice tables :thumbup1: I hear what your saying about mixing colours with the natural beauty of wood.
  21. Quiet for this time of year Shane:001_cool:
  22. Yeah I think your right Pedro It seems that Silky blades have gone the same way Im getting a few months from a blade where as a blade would do a year no sweat.
  23. Had the same pair of Felco no 2 for about 12 years and they are fantastic so decided over christmas to splash out £65 on a pair of no 7. Im very disappointed with the cutting edge that has worn badly and also the lack of strength at the pivot point that allows the blades to part. I have sharpened and adjusted but still the edge doesnt last. Imo they arnt worth the price tag and the added weight of the revolving handle and the way extra grip is needed to stop them springing out of my hand Id never buy another pair
