  2. 35 years old stronger and with more stamina than ever:rock: My problem is when work goes quiet and I dont climb for a week or so I start to fall apart. Got trouble with my left knee atm it feels like its going to hinge sideways which I recon is due to spiking it will be fine when things pick up
  3. My mate had a chimney fire last year, one of his neighbours rang 999 and the fire brigade turned up and wanted to fill his log burner with cold water . After it was all sorted out the main fireman gave him a lecture about how much time and money was lost because people didnt have their chimneys swept on a regular basis The funny part was the fireman standing next to him was the bloke that swept it 2 weeks previous

  5. I only replaced the pockets on the vermmer when the allen bolts had worn so much that I couldnt get enough purchase to do them up tight
  6. Cut years ago but returned to trees that were to your liking before they were cut again to a similar spec . The only difference is if you had your way now they would be felled, Is it not possible for them to return to their former glory ?

  9. Not one of those pictures shows more than 1 years growth. I would guess that they are clipped and without leaving stubs which unless im wrong isnt best practice.

  12. Either get pockets for finger teeth or fit a multi tip cutting wheel If you go down the finger teeth route then pm me because I have spares in the lock up that might fit
  13. Better off felled they'll do just fine and probably still be standing long after were dead and buried.

  16. Credit where credits due DM Chainsaws in Yapton west sussex have been servicing saws for my family for nearly 20 years and have never once been anything other than true professionals Matt the co owners is on hand 6 days a week and wheather its for advice or new kit cant be beaten imho.

Probably about the same damage as shutting fingers in doors My girls are 3 and play with most things in the shed under my supervision it normaly lasts 5 minutes and they are bored and doing something else, the biggest problem is when kids play with items normaly out of touch and dont have any idea of the inherent dangers
  18. BuY them a small axe each and flatten the cutting edge down so they cant cut themselfs as they progress then so can the cutting edge
  19. Just filled her up with diesel to the tune of £80 aswell
  20. Went to pick up an intercooler hose today that I was quoted £41 for a month back and found the price had jumped to £118
