  1. No log merchants I know kiln in bags just crates then fill bags. We use a friends kiln & am seriously considering packing in wooden crates like the ones coming in from the Baltic's.
  2. Sorry TCD I missed the down here bit.
  3. First of all I was having a playfully dig at somebody as I pointed out to sky I beg to differ I know of two forestry contractors selling seasoned beech at not much more than normal. The reason been it's starting to go over and they want rid plus there is a stockpile of cord in the south due to the amount been cut and two years of mild weather.
  4. Been known to throw the odd steak in the Forman. Can make a mean curry. Quite injoy it.
  5. Pto shafts are not my strong point now I've seen one smash it self to bits I've got a whole new respect for them.
  6. We had a guy set up doing £50 a cube another log merchant ordered 3 bags when they came they were .6 builders bags loose filled. Ended up with an ibc heaped up. The advert soon disappeared!!
  7. Try doing kindling with it. video it though glad your happy with it. Tractor & processor became separated today (operator error:blushing:) smashed the pto to bits before I could shut the mighty beast down. Expensive FU
  8. Ring Jim at reko he was very helpful when we had some problems with ours.
  9. Have you removed the bar and chain and operated it to see if there is any oil at all coming through?
  10. You can tell when you got 3 & 4 on the blower as they don't dilly dally around just want to know what's it is and when you can deliver.
  11. Yep we have had them too ringing saying wood will not burn visited property straight away to find logs floating in the pond. Can't educate pork
  12. Blowing a hooley here not good
  13. If the cords been sat in the woods a while you will ge 60 cube if it's been felled onto the lorry by some of the cord cowboys out there you might get 50. Also depends on species as well. Had a load if beech in last week 18 inch down been sat 18 months top of the bolsters and the weight ticket was 19.5 happy days shame that the next load was a complete load of tosh.WTF puts holly in a loads at a rate of 50%
  14. My simple answer is tell them that's the price take it or leave it sorts the weat from the chaff. It's customers that stil don't transfer the funds 14 days after delivery or the ones that say the cheques in the boiler room when you get there the door is locked. Grrrrrrr:sneaky2:
  15. My Kubota blew oil for 18 months before I sold it it's still blowing oil now no problems just needs topping up regular
  16. Slow this week for some reason!
  17. All the psychologists that We were put in touch with after my boys accident needed more help than us in my eyes. I've read a lot of books on dreams & they all differ on why how & the mechanics of dreams. I have a recurring dream about dropping my boy & it's stArted to make me worry when I pick him up. When I wake up after the dream I go & check on him the carer usually said he's been dreaming hope it's not the same dream as mine?
  18. Since the end of October last year I've had the same dream over and over it's in Hd this one if I've had a drink or not it all come I feel for you stereo it's horrible .
  19. It's hard to comprehend enormity of space. How cans we be alone?????
  20. Not used it but it's a palax in green so will be an ok machine. May be worth comparing the price as I imagine the green paint job might cost a few quid
  21. Had some Keroin off an old lorry bed now that stuff is hard is iron
  22. If it's sensibly priced I'll be interested if no one elsa takes it
  23. Oak or Holly we had some holly left in big chunks for two years amazing stuff when dry just takes a decade to dry. Or go to bed later and get up earlier
  24. What I don't get is at the majority of farm sales down here the stuff goes for stupid money and most are buying to sell.
